Decisive Strike: Problem? Or not? (Post-Rework)

Decisive Strike, oh boy. I knew i'd have to do this one eventually, so I figured why not now? I'm sure everyone knows what DS does, if you don't then I am very, very sorry.

Anyways, DS, post rework, are there any problems with this rework? Dunno, you tell me.

I'd love to hear your opinion @Sluzzy :)

Man, why does it always have to be DS?! GoobyNugget.

No, it is in a much better and healthier state now. It is actually still pretty strong in the endgame as well, I think people have yet to realize this. I feel that it is much more fair and can't wait to see how games are without it.

I think it would be nice if it got 2 uses, to punish the actual tunneling players more now. One DS isn't enough if the killer really has it out for someone.

That wouldn't be a bad change at all but might need a restriction when gates are open. That would be my only concern.

I have only gotten DSd a single time since the update dropped. Feels good.

It can still be strong in the right context. How I see it is that people would bring it in to use it as an offensive second chance perk rather than anti-tunnel since you can still very well be tunneled even after the stun is up. if anything I'd consider buffing it to be used twice a match, if not more depending on a separate condition that needs to be fulfilled, but 2 times is ideal. To me, DS has identity issues, and this latest patch doubled down on that with yet another bandaid fix to a much bigger problem to be addressed. The devs and the community managers have both said in the past it was never designed as an anti-tunneling perk. Now they're trying to fit it into the mold as one. I thought it was in a good spot after the 1st nerf when they added the new condition and timer and it had a workaround, but now it's probably going to see more work done to it in a future update if we don't get DBD 2 by then.

Us killers that barely got stunned before won't see a difference.

I think it's in a better state now that it's finally been tuned to be a true anti-tunneling perk.

And if time reveals that DS isn't doing this job well enough, it could always get future buffs to reinforce it's function in this role.

Thank god it has been nerfed, this perk is finally in a healthier state.

Its a much needed nerf and it does what its supposed to do which punishes tunneling. Its not perfect (I really don't understand why a DS player is punished for healing themselves but hey) however its a lot better than what it was so I'll just roll with it and see how it goes. I never personally ran it cause I always thought it was a crutch perk for bad survivors who abused it but lets see how it goes. I'm sure the perk pickrate has gone down significantly already. At least from what I've seen in my matches.

Decisive strike STILL need to get cancelled when you get into a locker, its literally a no counter strat.
