Killer 5th Perk
How can we explain why killers ought to have a 5th perk in a way for survivors and this current BHVR management to understand why its necessity is becoming inevitable?

It's not needed. Or are we going to remove Nurse, Spirit, Blight, and Freddy from the game with this massive buff?

A few killers is not indication of the abysmal state of the overall killer condition. Also, about Nurse, she has the worst kill record of 'em all.

First you would have to convince quite a few killer mains and people like me who play the full game, and honestly I am not convinced. Every killer, with the possible exception of Trickster has more than a few great 4 perk builds. The only place they consistently underperform is against super sweaty swf squads, and frankly an extra perk slot isn't going to trump the comms advantage.

The game was balanced around 4 perk slots, putting an extra one for killer would instantly destroy the balance of the game and end up killing the game. With an extra perk slot you could have extremely powerful builds that were not intended to be made.

Simple : Survivors are overwhelmingly playing in team (source : trust me bruh) and that's CLEARLY the equivalent of having multiple perks rolled into one.
Implying the devs thought about builds when releasing perks...

It's not needed and given their track record, the devs will never be able to balance the game around it. I'd rather the devs go back to the drawing board and work on improving the core game, but that would probably mean they would have to rewrite the games code since it's so bad.

It's not necessary if you know what you're doing with builds. As for SWFs you'll never beat them if they're sweaty doesn't matter how many perks you got. A 5th perk for killers WILL make people stop playing because solo survivors will be punished for sweaty SWFs.

Survivors can EASILY defeat every Killer in the game... If they truly wanted to. Isn't that bad balance when they aren't the "power" role?

Add a 5th perk slot for survivors as well as killers and you'll gain more support on this idea

Easily? Yeah that's a massive over exaggeration. Unless we're talking about a competitive 4 man SWF with thousands of hours in the game here then there isn't a power role in the game (and even then they account for less than a percent of the total playerbase), and there shouldn't be a power role due to the massive imbalances that come with making one side completely OP.
If you think survivors can "easily" defeat any killer, then load up into a game as survivor and get 50 win streaks in a row while solo queueing. I'll wait.

Survivors total get 16 perks, 16 perks you gotta ######### deal with,
killers only get 4 and if they are any hex perks they are gone within 30 seconds making it 1-3 perks left.

The ######### entitlement.
Discord literally eliminates the need for MOST survivor based aura perks and counters several killer perks like knockout AND ######### over stealth killers like ghostface.

Honestly the best they could do for a 5th perk slot is a mini-perk concept. Like maybe for example, sabotage hooks 15% faster, vault windows and pallets 3% faster, break pallets, generators, and walls 5% faster, increase aura reading ability by 3 meters, aaand that's about all I got. A 5th perk slot in general would be NUTS because I'd be able to run my usual build with NOED. Even giving it to survivors wouldn't help with balancing.

Even if killers had a 5th perk the game will still be SWF sided.

Every single thing in this game points to it being killer sided, if a killer only walks away with a 3k suddenly the survivors are OP.

Killer rate is 65-75% before DS nerf. If you need a 5th perk slot perhaps you are a bad killer

I also think comms are very strong, but cause of swf solo survivors get punished too much. The solo exp as surv is the weakest and the most miserable part of the game, period!
If you want a 5'th perk for the killer go ahead, but then they should add ingame comms of sort for sorvivors. So there's only swf, and no solo queers (idealy).

Yeah, without video evidence I seriously doubt that in solo queue for 42 matches in a row, not a single one of your teammates were bad enough to drag down the team while also simultaneously getting killers so mediocre that they always end the game with a 2k or less. The luck that's required for that is just insane unless you were in the low ranks, and even then if you were in the low ranks you should've had bad teammates. If you were in red ranks than the chances of getting teammates that are good at the game are better, but 42 times in a row? And not running into a single competent killer? I doubt it.

That already spells doom when you consider certain Killer powers and their synergy with other perks.
Imagine Spirit with something like Pop/Whispers, Stridor, BBQ, STBFL, & Corrupt/Ruin. I think that'd make any Survivor just give up tbh. People already don't like The Spirit, that would just tip them over the edge tbh.
