What is it about Plague that makes survivors hilariously suicidal?!

So after a long break from Plague due to being sick of her bugs, and her becoming more and more frustrating to play as on PS4, a little while ago I picked her back up again now I’m on PS5.

I have fallen back in love with her, and have a renewed appreciation for just how absurdly strong she can be when bugs and frame rate aren’t working against the player.

But my goodness, despite the time since not playing her, one thing still keeps popping up even now when I play her: survivors in the broken state doing a suicide run down the basement stairs before I’ve even left the basement.

It just always leave me so stunned and laughing after a basement hook to turn around and go to leave, only to have another survivor in a one hit state rush into the room.

Whack. Hook.

Like... what did they think was going to be the outcome.

It’s always the “non-cleansers” too. (I put that in quotations because they always cleanse, no matter how stubborn. Once they realise how futile it is to stay that way).

Does the infection somehow permeate outward from the game, and “infect” their sense of reason?!

Anyway, I’m just having a laugh, and a lighthearted dig, at their expense. It’s always when I use Plague. I don’t notice this kind of suicidal behaviour as other killers. It’s hilarious. And highly entertaining.
