What is it about Plague that makes survivors hilariously suicidal?!
So after a long break from Plague due to being sick of her bugs, and her becoming more and more frustrating to play as on PS4, a little while ago I picked her back up again now I’m on PS5.
I have fallen back in love with her, and have a renewed appreciation for just how absurdly strong she can be when bugs and frame rate aren’t working against the player.
But my goodness, despite the time since not playing her, one thing still keeps popping up even now when I play her: survivors in the broken state doing a suicide run down the basement stairs before I’ve even left the basement.
It just always leave me so stunned and laughing after a basement hook to turn around and go to leave, only to have another survivor in a one hit state rush into the room.
Whack. Hook.
Like... what did they think was going to be the outcome.
It’s always the “non-cleansers” too. (I put that in quotations because they always cleanse, no matter how stubborn. Once they realise how futile it is to stay that way).
Does the infection somehow permeate outward from the game, and “infect” their sense of reason?!
Anyway, I’m just having a laugh, and a lighthearted dig, at their expense. It’s always when I use Plague. I don’t notice this kind of suicidal behaviour as other killers. It’s hilarious. And highly entertaining.

Probably overconfidence in their abilities + BT with hooked survivor taking the hit.

”Overconfidence” is when I’m Clown, and they behave like I’m not a threat, until they realise the mistake they’ve made.
This with Plague though... it’s like their brains turn to mush once they’re fully infected.

Lack of experience, its what you get when killers arent used much and again also the reason why new killers immidietly are called OP and UP depending on the side, people just dont know yet how to deal with it.
And if a killers is rarely played, like plague, they never had that experience, twins is another one where survivors have no clue.

Yeah that could be a contributing factor.

I see you're playing against the average red rank survivors 👉👉

A lot of people find plague unfun to face. She can deny ballsy plays and forces you to stay injured.
Otherwise people just don’t know how to play around her because she’s so rare

probably have dead hard and ended up exhausted on the ground

yeah i see this alot too when i play Plague. And when i rarely face a plague when im survivor my team always cleanse, and we end up getting detroyed by corrupt purge.. every single time!

I think it is because of the lack of experience. Basically, if you weren't playing around the time she released, you probably haven't seen a lot of Plagues, to the point where a lot of survivors don't even know how to counter her.

I mean... if someone decides to do a save in the basement, BEFORE I’ve even had a chance to leave yet, then they probably should have cleansed first.
I play in such a way that NOT cleansing is the biggest mistake the survivors can make, hence why they always eventually do in my games once they realise trying to deny me CP is hurting their objective.
