Alert is criminally underrated.

Like leader this perk is amazing. You can see the killer across the whole map and also use this info to see what walls and pallets aren't broken. Is also great in chase to counter Brutal Strength or Fire Up(It's bad but still) and killers who can instantly break a pallet since you can use the info in chase to avoid a mind game. It's a real bummer this perk use to suck but the devs made it real good like they should do with each perk rework. But i don't see it much.

I think with all perks of this nature, a lot is dependent on players individual playstyles...for example I wouldn't value the information over a perk such as Dead Hard for example. I'd also not drop Head On + Q&Q for anything, but that's another story :)

I don't think it's a bad perk by any means, the information is really good - but if I am playing in a way where I want information, I tend to run Empathy as I'm normally running a more "team healing" build when playing in that playstyle.

Every perk is underrated once you learned to play without perks, once you dont need them anymore every perk you do have is a nice bonus.

Agreed! Every perk has its use, but many choose just a few. Someone can win with more unusual perks; some of which are devastating when learnt! "Alert" is a good example. So too is "Deja Vu", "Aftercare", "Babysitter" and practically most others (although "Slippery Meat" is a bit of a dud).

It's just about how you use them and how creative you can be with them.

Windows of Opportunity has to be the most underrated perk in the game

Alert used to be one of my favorite perks. Its amazing how often a killer kicks a pallet or a gen and you instantly knew where he was. Like Mandy said, my playstyle has changed over time and i replaced it with other things, but it's still a valuable perk.

Fixated is my new favorite perk that I try and always run. It's so nice being able to zoom across the map without having to leave scratch marks everywhere and quickly changing cover with the killer nearby it so much easier as well

While alert is a fantastic perk, it just doesn't quite beat kindred, and it's hard to find space for all these aura perks

Windows is probably the second best solo queue perk next to kindred.

My standard solo queue build is build is windows/kindred/iron will/dead hard

Its such a good perk, I won't play without it. Too much information. In chases, you can literally run the opposite direction to the aura after they break the pallet you just threw down. Dark sense is like its sister perk.

Fixated is amazing. I've been using it a lot lately and it's insane how many times I don't get found even though I'm super close to the killer, just because I was able to get behind cover without leaving scratch marks.
