How many times do people need to ask for this? Has anyone ever felt "fear" or "tension" from this feature like the devs have described? How many people need to die due to lag or mistiming a button click? Dying to the game not registering your button input is such an awful mechanic. How has this persisted in the game for so many years?

Add skill checks, or just remove it entirely. No one finds this mechanic fun or scary. It's trash.

Its funny, I never thought about that but yeah F that mechanic needs to go away. Like the idea of having to do skill checks.

We joke about this, but I have actually had to replace a spacebar over it.

"How many times do people need to ask for this?"

I mean, many more times, the devs only work if they have to and as far as I can see plenty of people bought the new chapter and bought auric cell's only cosmetics for them sooo business is fine without the need of putting in any extra effort.

I’m tired of hearing my friend breaking his controller through my headset. I’m always like, Dood, just keep a simple rhythm it’s not as frantic as you think it is and you don’t need your whole arm strength to wiggle...just sway your stick back and forth.

Noob mentality is breaking items. If I was a funny content creator, I’d make a joke video about this concept, ages ago. Probably already exists somewhere.

the struggle phase is half the reason i got a autoclicker, having it removed would be a blessing

I'd also remove the option to wiggle when carried. It doesn't do #########.

I hate the wiggle when getting carried and this finger mashing thing on hook, i prefer pyramid heads chill checks. I get carpal tunnel quite often and its painful.

I think wiggling is fine, alternating between A and D seems to work reliably and it's not at too frantic a pace. And missing a keystroke is not a big deal, since wiggling is 99.5% cosmetic anyway.

Struggling, though, is terribly designed. Frantic buttonmashing and if you let up for even .25 seconds, you die instantly. Which is awful when the game swallows a keystroke, because then you die -despite- buttonmashing. And yes, that is an issue with the game itself not always reading inputs correctly, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea to design a mechanism that is vulnerable to that kind of bug.

Devs are way too stubborn with the mash mechanic. Next to nobody likes it yet they never feel the need to remove it with every patch. We'll get Jason Voorhees, 2v8 mode, and bots before it gets removed.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean everyone does. I like it, feels more immersive.

Guys just change your "Spacebar" control key to F it would be more easy to press it, and you wouldn't die just for an incident so press F to pay respect ahahaah btw i did it for this reason.

Yeah, I'd also like it if this would be changed to the Pyramid Head cage skill checks.

Smashing the spacebar is too loud. It upsets my pet parrot.

Right now I have bound it to mouse wheel down and bought a mouse where I can set the mouse wheel to freely rotate, so I don't have to deal with this anymore.
