surveillance
Can somebody explain to md how exactly this perk works because I think I'm using it wrong? From what I understood when u kick the gen the gen aura is White and if someone starts working on it it turns yellow but the thing is for me it's always red idk is it bugged or I don't know how to use it properly

Once you kick the gen, it goes white. It will stay white until a survivor works on it (which turns it yellow but only for a short time pending which tier it's at before returning to red) or it regresses all the way, in which case it goes back to red like normal.

If a gen is not regressing it is normally red
If the gen is regressing, it turns white
If the gen has just switched from regressing to progressing it turns yellow for a few seconds, then goes back to normal red.
If a regressing gen goes back to 0%, the gen goes back to red. (It does not turn yellow)

It has nothing to do with kicking generators, but regressing them.
While using Surveillance, any time a generator is regressing, for any reason, it's aura turns white. If a survivor touches the generator, the aura turns yellow for a few seconds, then back to red. If it fully regressed back to 0% progress, it turns red without turning yellow first.
A number of perks cause generators to regress. Kicking the generators also cause them to regress. It doesn't matter how the generator starts to regress, all that matters is that it is actively regressing.
