Its a hot take but unbreakable is the worst perk in the game to play against
1 players down i slug
2 players
im chasing the 3rd
in their discord
"ive got unbreakable stay on the gen"
4th guy doesn't have to move and a gen pops player 1 unbreakable and picks up his mate. I earned 3 downs assuming the 3rd player goes down they gave me nothing because one player ran 1 perk in one of 16 slots. That's way too much impact and it does so much for SWFs if they know each other have it.

Actually that's really stupid, it only works one time so why waste it when someone else can come pick you up? It only works one time so why waste it when someone else can come pick you up? Ig it's okay if we're talking about the last generator. Either way, it's a one-time use perk, and it only works if you the killer allows it to. There's a risk with slugging, that risk is someone might have soul guard and or unbreakable. You have to make decisions and choices.

It's a very powerfull (when it comes to play) perk but balanced. No need to nerf or buff it.
3 -
Yeah but it compensates for all the games with it serving the purpose of just a wasted perk slot. You can only use it ONCE per match. per unbreakable. It's one of the most game impacting perks in Dbd but it's definitely not OP man. It's just a "good" counter to Slugging.

I've been using unbreakable all day.
I got to use it like....in one game......and we all still died, it just let us get some more points out of the game because I was able to turn a game ending situation into a partial recovery for the team.
All it cost was playing like 2 dozen games without a 4th perk basically until I got to use it.
It's strong when it works but it's fine as is.

One guy can pick up another and the likelihood of using unbreakable 2 times is so low that it is usually fine if one of the 16 perks can have so much impact as to reset the game its so strong not to mention if your a team you can get one man up to quick heal another theoretically 4 times the fact it is a one time use doesn't balance it. Often as well you are not given a chose on slugging and it just happens to be the best play you can make especially against a good team.

if you feel threatened by a perk that counters your slugging for the 4k plans, you might wanna look into a different main to get 4k without slugging?
seriously: unbreakable is a decent and pretty well balanced perk. and it makes me wonder if there's some inner-team war going on between one side that tries to discourage stuff like slugging etc and one that tries to encourage it.
two houses both alike in incompetency...

This OP is mostly copy pasted from a thread i started where i argued the DS nerf is not a good way to balance the roles out

No, the worst perk to play against is objectively NOED. Unbreakable is only a problem if you over-slug, and even then, you still take someone out of play for a full minute and kill off one of their perks.
Not everything has to be 100% killer sided all the time.

its more of a potential value issue if you have a good team on comms that are not playing chill then you can force so much value out of it it can reset a whole game 4 times although this is unlikely no perk should do that. Its why its been in the holy trinity of DBD
Dead hard
Unbreakable
Decisive Strike
Honestly these are the only 3 perks that the survivors have except object and iron will if you REALLY push it really far that can justify a nerf and I don't think DS even needed a nerf just a fix with lockers. I honestly don't understand why people rate it as balanced when it potentially able to save whole games with very little input and in swfs by saying that you have it if you want to then nobody needs to pick you up which is usually the primary reason to slug a player.

If unbreakable is balanced then why does it not have a downside when deliverance does?
0 -
the downsize of unbreakable is 1 time use only, just like deliverance.
what you did is your slugging tactic, when you should be gen pressuring. when you down a survivor, hook him as soon as possible.

You completely ignored my point. Unbreakable is a powerful perk just like deliverance and they are very similar. Both have a one time use and both have the potential to change the game drastically.
Why does one have multiple downsides and conditions and the other does not?
0 -
the downside of the perk is its ONE TIME use. thats the condition. its a 2 slots useless once its both used. when we could have GEN PRESSURE PERKS(prve thyself, resiilienece, exhaustion perks), these perks are POWERFUL once used PROPERLY. if not, its useless

Once again for the third time why does deliverance have all these extra conditions but unbreakable does not?
0 -
the condition of unbreakable is he needs to be downed. if hes slugged, hes one survivor NOT DOING GEN.
0 -
Nevermind, you don't understand my question and I'm not gonna keep explaining myself.
0 -
Because in general gameplay, someone gets slugged, then immediately picked up and put on the hook. Most survivors won't be left on the ground long enough for Unbreakable to trigger, but pretty much all survivors will, at some point, get hooked.

Unbreakable is balanced.

If you want the 4k... you will have to slug for it.
I don't like it, I don't want to do it, but that's just how it is ATM.
I mean we could remove hatch from the game and automatical move to post game collapse for the last person alive and they could still make for the exit gates...
But people still want their multiple chances to escape, even if they did nothing all game, but camp hatch with a key.
So I guess I will have to keep sluging.
