The Badham maps are really not fun to play

I don't even know where to start with this. There's a safe spot around every single corner. There's 4 entire buildings there. I'll let Otz go over it as he has a pretty good summary of the maps
Badham section starts at 2:41:30
I cannot stress enough how awful these maps are to play as killer. It feels like with most killers there's little you can do. The worst part is that in areas like the school the survivor just has to hold forwards and drop a pallet every now & then and it takes up so much time, likewise for the house of pain as they call it.
The white fence is especially problematic. Right now I'd say it's the single most powerful vault in the entire game. It doesn't matter if you break the door or leave the door standing the survivor still makes it around.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm at the point I honestly feel like giving up on the game entirely because these maps are so horrendous to play. Badham and a few others notably the meat plant rework. Nothing about them feels fair or fun, as much hate as Haddonfield gets I'd take it over a Badham map anyday of the week.
Some suggestions
- Remove some buildings entirely. It really doesn't need 4, just strip some out.
- Lessen the pallets. There's so many pallets everywhere sometimes
- Fix the white fence - it's one of the worst parts about Badham school because it allows the survivor to link up so much
- Change the school entirely - it's nothing but hold forwards and pre-drop pallets. It encourages the worst and least fun style of gameplay.

There are no words how much I hate that fence and the building with the two linked cellars.

Worst of all there's 5 different version of them all.

The breakable walls make the school not so bad now (kinda) yeah it has safe pallets but once they're gone, it's now virtually a cornered deadzone.
The problem with Badham is the rest of the buildings and the loops surrounding them. The house of pain is also in this map and can be a god loop if the RNG gods demand it

It's still easy to use the fence and make it around the school so the breakable walls don't stop that. If the survivor doesn't have enough distance to make it around the side of the school, they can use the fence to make it to one of the car pallets. If they play that pallet correctly they make it back to the fence and into the school, if they don't play the pallet correctly they get hit and a speed boost and make the fence and then around the school anyway. The walls don't do much in all honesty. The white fence needs a hard change.
The problem with the school is that the school itself can waste minutes of time. If you chase a survivor there you'll probably lose about 3 gens, at that point it doesn't matter if it's a deadzone. The survivors have most of their objective done and between the shack, house of pain, the other house, random pallets, and just holding W through the school there's enough there to buy them the time needed to get the objective done.
I think the map is in need of a huge overhaul. The worst part about the map is how little skill a lot of it requires against m1 killers like myers, wraith, trapper. Even against stronger killers like freddy or pyramid holding shift W can waste so much time. I mean the school isn't even good for Trapper because he can block doorways with his traps but then they all dead hard through them anyway.
I had a killer dc against me on this map the other day and I do not blame them one bit. I'm sure next game they'll just play nurse, spirit or hag who won't have to deal with the bs as much.
