Swamp is still Blight's worst map
Even after the readjustment of his collision, Backwater Swamp's collision doesn't want him to slam into even the largest flat walls.

That maps bugged and broken don't worry its nothing new

I played on Yamaoka with him,
loved the FOV raise. TY
but WHERE IS THE COLLISION FIX? I had the worst time with him after this update, sliding off nearly everything. I kept using it because I trusted this fix and it was terrible.

The camera function to look up and down mid-rush allows him to slam into lower obstacles he didn't normally slam into before, which is a really neat change. There are still certain trees or rocks that ignore his hit detection. Swamp is everything wrong in that regard lol.

coldwind is worse

*laughs in console blight on lerys where i just go into a corner and cry*

Swamp is not even close to being Blight's worst map. To even get to it you have to go through Lery's, Midwich, Hawkins, The Game, Haddonfield, Rotten Fields, Thompson House, and debatably Ormond and every Autohaven map except Gas Heaven.

Swamp is just bad for everyone. Definitely my least favourite map

Isn't Swamp, like, everyone's worst map?
Just Grim Pantry, tho. The Pale Rose is fine.

Swamp is one of the maps where the issue with the map-design approach shows best (worst):
Maps are mostly made for the killer they've come with:
Swamp is (theoretically) great for hag: nigh impossible to spot traps, ridiculous totem spawns etc.
Coldwind is billy's map: lots of space for chainsaw runs, very little to really dodge behind.
etc.
And this is a design philosophy that continues till today:
Glenvale has a lot of drop- and trickshot points (like shooting someone off the gallows gen from below or from across the street)
Midwich has long corridors and narrow vaults that make PH's range attack and cages very effective
etc.
Makes one wonder what maps for blight, twins and trickster would have looked like. Blight and Trickster would like have similar maps, at least if ricocheting would be basic for trickster: lots of weird angled walls and nooks and crannies. Twins... i dunno, maybe the catacombs of paris or something? narrow tall corridors charlotte can block?

you need to fight your camera and look down. they put a heap of recoil/ feedback on it for no reason.

Change *Blight for *the.
That's my opinion.

Fun Fact: If you play Blight on console, every map is his worst map!

Fun Fact: just because PC Blight is better than console doesn't mean console Blight is unplayable. It's just a tad bit harder. People give console Blights too much hate for no reason other than because you can't exploit flicks.

I played a LOT of Blight when he released and let me tell you,the awful turn rate for his rushes and lethal rushed are hurting him a LOT.
The amount of situations i had when i thought "Would have been a hit on PC" is depressing. And i'm not even talking about the J-Flicks.
He's not unplayable sure,but a lot worse.

I'm not saying console Blight is unplayable, but it's certainly way harder. There is actual evidence that he was coded poorly on controllers. I don't know where you got the "I hate console Blights because they can't exploit flicks" from, but if you truly believe I think that way you are sorely mistaken.

Fair enough, sorry. I myself main Blight on console, and he gets a very rep when in fact he's just as dangerous as a PC Blight when you know how to utilize him on a controller. I would say console Blight was THAT hard before his FoV fix. In conclusion to my general topic, all swamp maps and so so Léry's are his absolute cancers. Every other map even Hawkins is fair game.

Not so sure. Remember Freddy (on release) and Badham? There was no synergy at all.
