Report Killers for Unsportsmanship
There should be an option to report these killers for unsportmanship gaming. As a new player to dbd i have been killed on site and not given a fair chance of playing any part of this game.

Killers aren't required to give you a chance to play, just like survivors aren't required to give killers free hits. You're still a new player though, so you'll eventually adapt. The game has a high learning curve.

Killers are supposed to kill. Get better at avoiding the killer and/or learn how to handle chases.

What the hell is this post?
I know...bait and you got me. But what the ######### are you talking about? What about your responsibility to learn to loop and get better at survivor?
I know....I know....bait and you caught me.

Only if we can report survivors for rushing all the gens and escaping not giving killers a fair chance to play the game.

What is a bait and im new at dbd so how am i supposed to get to use to it and enjoy the game if i am dead immediately? I spent $30 for this game and i dont get a fair chance at playing if im attacked and dead game over so,whats the fun at that??

I'm going to start reporting survivors for gen-rushing and hiding from me. I never get a fair chance to chase or kill them... NOT FAIR! Survivors often act like they don't want me to get any kills! How am I supposed to get any points if they won't die for me?
Now excuse me while I go have a good cry.

What you define as bad sportsmanship is probably not how the game defines it. The Killer's job is to prevent the Survivors from escaping the match and killing as many of them as possible. They have all sorts of tactics they can employ in doing so. The only things that any Player (Killer or Survivor) is beholden to are:
- Don't cheat, either by hack or lag spike.
- Don't disconnect; if you start a game, finish it.
- Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
That's it. That is all that is required to be a good sport when playing Dead by Daylight. No Killer is obligated to any particular behavior otherwise. They can Camp, Tunnel, Slug, and/or Mori you if they feel like it. They can Herd you, trick you into 3-Gen situations, and even use you as bait. They can take you down into the basement and cover the approach with traps. They can make sure they hook multiple Survivors near each other and a Generator they are protecting so that they can kill three birds with one stone. The list goes on and on.
*I'm not even getting into the various Builds and Add-on(s).
There are two roles in this game. Most of us play both Killer and Survivor. Neither role is responsible for the fun of the others. This is a PvP game and the fun comes in the challenge. If that isn't for you, the internet is teeming with thousands upon thousands of games you might like better. I'm really not trying to be mean or sarcastic. I'm simply laying out facts for you, so you can make an educated choice. I hope you stay and become a great Killer. If so I'm sure I will both fight against you and by your side from time to time. If not, happy trails.

Try watching some youtube videos about playing survivor. The game has been around for like 5 years, you have some catching up to do.

Folks, the little up/down thumb next to every player (Killer and survivor) at the end of the match does indeed allow you to report folks for toxic / unsportsmanlike gameplay. I believe that on console, you don't get the little box where you can type comments, but you can still do the report.

I got reported for harassment by chasing a survivor across the map.
lol

I don't recommend you to play this game as a solo survivor. Either get a team of 4 friends, or play killer. Solo survivor is unplayable.

Please see here for things that are reportable in game: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
Please do not waste the time of our Support staff by reporting things that are actual mechanics in game.
