WHAT TO ADD IN THE DESCRIPTION

Step 1 : Boot the game
Step 2 : Play as killer in a public match
Step 3 : Games usually start out fine
Step 4 : Random fps drops and stuttering begins or after I start a chase it all begins

Step 1: Play the game
Step 2: Be near killer
Step 3: Killer kicks gen
Step 4: Suffer in hard stutter and FPS drops
Step 5: Get hooked a second time
Step 6: Die during struggle because Stutter is so mighty when looking around that space bar doesn't get picked up
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Characters played : Adam, Trickster
- Perks played: Devour of hope, NOED, Save the best for last, Starstruck. Inner Strength, Iron will, Dead hard, WGLF.
- Maps: Autohaven, The Game, Freddy maps
- Frequency of the issue: Every game and constant on killer. On survivor its when turning the screen during chases but its not constant but still often. On killer its constant chase or not.

HOW TO GET YOUR LOGS (THIS PART ONLY APPLY TO PC PLAYERS):
When you get the issue, close your game and do not reopen it until you get your logs.
- Press Win+R
- Type in appdata
- Press OK
- In opened window navigate to: \Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Usually you would need to attach the DeadByDaylight.log file.
- Add the file to your bug report
NOTE: COPY/PASTE THE TEMPLATE AND ADD YOUR INFORMATION. IF YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE TEMPLATE, YOU WILL BE ASK TO ADD THE MISSING INFO. AFTER THE SECOND STRIKE, WE WILL CLOSE YOUR THREAD.

Logs since they wouldn't add to the post. I've updated graphics drivers and the stutter is a little less constant but its still there and drastic

I'm having this issue on PS4 also ‐ on top of the glitching on my end, I'm also watching survivors glitch across the map as they run. Doesn't matter if I'm playing killer or survivor. Definitely a pain. (I made my own bug report on this, also)

Dude..or chick. I've updated my drivers like three times and did a fourth clean install that wipes all the previous drivers, I updated the pc, I gave my cpu more thermal paste because it was low, I reinserted my graphics card and none of that worked when most of the time the graphics drivers update fixes it usually. Its terrible

Are you playing with controller + mouse combo? There is a known issue with fps drops when using controller + mouse/keyboard simultaneously

I'm having the same issue. If I use my PS4 controller and my mouse at the same time, (That's how I play) then I experience frame drops of 30+. My FPS goes from 62 to like 28 FPS. It's literally unplayable. Is this a bug present in the game?

The situation is when in the match, the game stutter and freeze, fps drop from 60 just for half second then back to normal. The stuttering and freeze repeats every ~10 seconds. It's like 60 stutter to 50 then to 60 during 1 second, and reapeat every 10 secs The exact same issue happened before this patch and it seems the old tec issue come back to this game in new patch 4.6.0. The same issue happened in July 2020 and got solved by a hotfix. But the new patch 4.6.0 seem to bring it back.

FPS DROP EVERY 10 SECONDS
• Platform: PC
• Description of the issue: The game freezes and drops 15 fps every 10 seconds (I counted it) after the 4.1.0 update
• Steps to reproduce (if possible): Just open Dbd
• How often does this occur: everytime

I cant play right now bc its dropping fps every 10 seconds and my screen is stuck in this time. Do you have this problem too?

I had this exact problem the day of the patch. I literally couldn't lunge or go near certain tiles without my fps almost freezing. Have never had that problem before.
I ended up restarting my pc and it seemed to fix it although I still get random fps drops from time to time.

If any mod see this, please check and help to fix it as it really annoys and making the game exprience terrible.

Im having this same exact issue as well. I even captured it on stream today and it ruined my game and actually started breaking my pc today.
