Underused Survivor appreciation thread
Just wanted to make a thread for all the people who main the more rare survivors. I main Jeff and Jane and honestly I see another Jeff like once a month. Same goes for Tapp, Quentin, Ashe, Adam and zarina players.
These survivors really don’t get the love they deserve by both the cosmetic team and the players. some of them like Jeff and Adam have gone insanely long times without cosmetics and this only leads to them being played less. It would be really nice to see some more variety in my lobbies.

Honestly, on Switch there's quite a few Zarinas and there used to be a lot more Quentins and there's still a few.

Zarina is not as bad as some of the others but is still very rare.
Besides myself playing Quin I barely see him at all

I love Jeff players. Jeff is dad. Jane players are usually pleasant. I think. Adam and Ash players are kinda... just there, I guess. Quentin, Tapp, and Zarina players would do the community a favor by just uninstalling the game and never coming back.

Zarinas are human trash, Tapps are more taunting and dickish than TF2's Spy, and Quentins are hated by their families and take it out on people in a video game.

Zarinas while rare aren’t ever toxic in my experience
Tapp’s are complete chads most the time and they’ll taunt you if they know you’ll chase them
As a Quentin player as well I will not take those words. We just want cosmetics okay?

Zarinas love clicking.
Tapps love taunting if they drop even a single pallet and will trash talk you when they escape through hatch after no gens have been done. ESPECIALLY if they have prestige gear on.
Quentins are just... I almost feel bad for how much their families bully them, but then I stop feeling bad when they take it out on me.

Most zarinas use medkits from my experience (mind you most people use medkits period)
Again tapp’s are trying to get in your head and tilt you. Can’t fault them for it as it can work quite well
Quentin mains just like the character or like his beautiful face (honestly can’t blame them). Looks better than most the male characters imo

I always see Zarinas try to overuse flashlights.
The problem with trying to tilt me is that most Tapps are dogwater at the game. And then, again, they trash talk after they hatch their way out of a 5-gen 4k.
I cannot take what you just said about Quentin seriously. Quentin is almost UNIVERSALLY memed on for being the ugliest Survivor in the entire game to the point where he looks more like a goblin than an actual human. Even Meg and Nea don't hold a candle to his atrocious face.

Tbf zarina is so rare that there’s no real stereotype for her
Most tapp’s are find are actually really good. Great loop knowledge, Know how to juke, hit greats consistently. Overall great players
Meg is meant to be a sports athlete that’s 20 yet she looks 50 and Nea is not only bad at fashion sense she also is memed on for looking like a killer.
At least Quentin has a reason to look a bit messed up man has been through hell and back without sleep surviving off drugs and energy drinks

Tapps are dogwater. They only know how to hold W and pre-drop pallets. The thing is, that's all you need to know how to do.
The problem with your argument for Quentin is that not only is he memed on for looking like a goblin, he's memed on for looking absolutely NOTHING like the actor that portrays him.
Here's an image of real life Quentin, as well as that same image with DBD Quentin's face photoshopped onto him. Notice how the original Quentin, despite still having that whole "not sleeping to survive Fredward" look, still looks like a nerdy 17-year-old high schooler, and the photoshop looks like you put a grizzled WW2 vet's head on a middle schooler's body.

I prefer to see "rare" survivors in my killer matches rather than the average nea and Dwight.

It's pretty sad when we are not seeing them around.
Lately I'm playing with random Ash and Zarina players, but Jeff and Adam are rare.
Tapp and Quentin are no where to be seen.

I'm an adam main. It's so annoying and wired we don't see other characters. I can't tell you the last time I saw an Felix or Jeff.

i have been seeing more Adams since he has been getting a lot of cosmetics recently.
Jeff needs more cosmetics though and once not the colour black red and yellow

My Zarina counter is at 47. She isn't that rare for me as she's above almost the entire male cast. A large part of all of this is the waifu culture. In the distant past it was looked at as "gay" to play the female characters. You're supposed to play the macho man cause that's what you're supposed to want to aspire to be. Now it's "gay" to play the guys cause apparently whoever you play is who you want to "snu snu" with.

The reason I played Jeff so early was because I was head over heels for the Darkness Among Us chapter. I loved both him and Legion (and I still do).

Legions power was a mistake and their lore is kinda weird but their visual design is okay I guess?

Well they were the first dbd killer I saw, and even though I knew literally nothing about the games balance, watching Monto play them looked really fun, so I bought the game followed by their chapter. I though Jeff was cool too, so I played him along with Legion.

I'm pretty sure poor ol' Jeff is the least played. Guess most people don't like the rocker beer belly dude.

That's similar to me, I still main Legion to this day, but I ended up dropping Jeff because all the guides I watched told me to play Meg and Claudette instead because they had better perks.

Pretty much spot on with my data. Meg, Claudette, and Feng are in the triple digits while Jeff is at 10, Quentin is at 9, and Tapp is at 13. Adam isn't too far ahead of them at 19 with Ash at 20. The guys get very little love. The lowest female besides Yun-Jin Lee is Laurie at 27 and Jane at 29. Most of the ladies are past 50 or near it.

I've always played female survs just because they're smaller and better at stealth personally. I was thinking of playing Ash as AvED was an amazing show but hes so god damn loud.

I play Jeff here and there, and he's extremely loud as well. You fall off the little staircase on the farm map outside and he screams like he fell off a cliff. Steve is also pretty loud.

I'm about to Prestige 3 Zarina. I just played her a few games because I had some leftover Year 4 Cake offerings, and now I really took a liking to them.

I got her p3 soon after she came out. She’s definitely underrated
