How does penalty time resets?

My internet dced 2 days ago and got a 30 minute penalty after 2 days i was like meh by the time i will play it might've reseted i get back my internet dced again then another 30 minute penalty like doesnt it reset? If it does how?

Keep in mind i played other games so the dc penalty time reset but it doesn't seem to reset

Oh wait never mind someone said you have to play 12 hours in game

I'm not sure i think it has to do with matches you play without dcs or it resets every week.

It should reset weekly,
