I want to play Trickster, but there's no point
I've always enjoyed every new killer that comes out and looking at the Trickster and its ability makes me want to play it more, but there's no reason to, its too weak and i know i'm gonna get wrecked by survivors. One or two escapes i can take, but when i get rushed and everyone escapes is when my confidence is shaken
I wish Trickster would get some kind of buff to help the odds while playing it.

the "movement speed while throwing" addons help him a lot, but with or without he's incredibly weak. that being said, i still have fun playing him somehow

Well there is a point to play Trickster. If you hate being in red ranks and wanna derank just play as Trickster lmfao

I still find Trickster more appealing than the Twins. Don't get me wrong, I love going against them, there's nothing more satisfying than yeeting Victor, but I'll never play them.

Trickster is gonna be getting some buffs guranteed but when that happens is the question. I still play him and I just have to turn off the part of my brain that likes to win in order to play him. I have so much fun with him but if I go into a match with a "I want to win" mindset I know Im not gonna have fun. It's sad but thats how I do it lmao

Agreed. I really like the killer's style and I even like the noises he makes during the match that a lot of people complain about. His power is just too situational though. In most loops, I find it better to not use the power at all and even when I do use it, it doesn't really help me out all that much. Not sure what kind of buff he needs, maybe increase his speed while a knife is readied or something. He definitely needs some help.
This might be broken as hell, but maybe it would be cool if he could throw his knives so they stick into the ground. They'd then act as a trap and give the survivor a laceration point if they step on it. Just spitballing here, but I do think I'd prefer some sort of mechanical change rather than them just changing a number.

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for survivors making you feel bad about it, like t-bagging and maybe sending hurtful messages afterwards

I got a few 4ks last night, but most matches were just being gen rushed to hell before I could even cross the map.

Same, before i can get even two hooks most of the gens go off. Even if they're not SWF, they still gang together and work around everywhere

Yeaaah. It's why I started using NOED for a while, because I didn't have any slow down perks and people just sped through gens before I could do anything at all in game. I replaced NOED with Play With Your Food, but it's kinda useless because you lose all your stacks if you use your knives & I usually can't find my obsession until like 3 gens have already popped. He feels a lot better though, if you're at 115%, so I'm really hoping that he'll be buffed to 115% like Legion was so I can replace my haste perks with gen slow down perks.
Edit: Oh, I do have legitimate good advice though--something I've learned is just to lean kind of heavily into 3 gen strats. Usually when I'm playing Trickster, because I have no map pressure, I'll find a set of gens that work for me and guard the area pretty heavily and then slowly tighten my circle to my 3 gens.

At least Trick Blades makes him pretty unique, but that's not basekit sadly and has to be reduced to an add on. Seriously would like to know what kind of thought process was made when they made Trickster, who is definitely the worst killer in the game.

They must've been smoking some freaky drugs to deliberately release Trickster like this.
He's basically an M1 110 Killer with a power that's extremely situational. Easily the worst killer in the game as of right now.

Was going for Adept off and on today, and I got a game going pretty solid till someone got salty their SWF buddy died and suicided.
Got Haddonfield I think 4 times between last night and today. Two back to back last night. Today I got sent there with a offering and just patrolled a corner cause I knew it was doomed. Though honestly the farm maps are also killing me. Most loop obstacles seem to deny my blades cause of their height, so I'm left being reduced to a slower M1 killer.

I was just in a match as Survivor with Trickster as the killer and...it was so boring
Top level perks and barely downed anyone, god knows they tried. This proves the current state of Trickster is bad for survivors too. Good if you want a challenge done, but bad if you're hoping for any thrill

I need counseling for many things, but thats not what we're talking about :P
Getting a 4k, 3k, 2k or 1k i'm good with, but always getting no kills makes me feel useless, like maybe its me and not the killer. I'm ok if it happens now and then, but all the time, not so much
I'm Asperger's and having people sending hurtful messages, like calling me trash, doesn't really help, even if it has been a while since that happens, there's still some cruel players out there

I don't really care about 4ks, i'm ok with any kills, even one. But if get no kills and that constantly happens, thats when i start caring.
Sure, Trickster may get some kills here and there, but it still needs work.
