Keys every game or am i crazy?
I feel like almost every game they either find a key or bring one.. Especially when i am playing trickster.

There has been a surge in key usage since the mori rework because people fear keys will be next. The devs could have nothing planned for keys but people believe it so they're using them before they get destroyed. Tool boxes were in the same boat when they nerfed ruin.

playing this killer definitely can drive me crazy. but i just dont get it. Really feels like more than half the games they have a key somehow.

Did you check the perks of survivors. Sometimes survivors use Plunderer's Instinct to find keys and they do not bring keys due to not being tunneled by killers. I mean keys are quiet a problem but you can always dodge lobbies if they bring keys. For example I dodge lobbies whenever I see 2 or more toolboxes because they already did gens fast and I dont need more sweat. Do the lobby skip it will be better if you suspect they are gonna bring keys and you can always burn offerings for hatch spawns so that you will know where the hatch is which then you can protect it.

Weren’t we just discussing how the chests feel bugged right now? I find a key in almost every game, after only searching 2-3 chests, with Plunderer.
Im a Killer main switching roles finally, and I’ve never seen so many keys. I asked if this was normal and people were saying that they were having similar experiences and that the chests might be bugged.

Chests are bugged right now. I've found at least five purple/pink keys today without using Plunderer's, and I've had teammates find keys three other times but I didn't bother looking at their builds. I also find a lot of pink maps and purple toolboxes, so something really messed up the rarity system.

Yea chests are bugged so there's rare items in the chests every game. Sucks but the probability of keys is very high.
