Why you are not losing DS when someone healing you?
Devs nerfed DS because if you doing gen, healing someone and doing other survivors stuffs that is mean you are not tunnelling and you are losing DS for this hook. But if someone healing you that mean you have time for get heal and killer is still not tunnelling you? Why this not makes lose DS? What is sense?

Well this is still not makes sense. Because devs wanted make it "anti-tunnel perk" but if you have time for get heal. Then killer is not tunnelling you.
1 -
At least DS should be gone if healing is halfway or until full health.
0 -
You can stop healing by running away. Devs have changed it a long time ago. If you let that healing pass 50% or until full health, that means you allow it.
0 -
If someone unhooks you with We'll Make It and the killer isn't camping, you're most likely going to get healed before the killer shows up to potentionally tunnel you whether you're healed or not.
4 -
Well you can let other survivors heals you or you can start run for protect DS. That will survivor's choice.
0 -
Just my 2 cents as to why the devs thought that was a good idea.

It still wouldn’t be fair. Could you imagine all the trolling that would occur from teammates tapping heal just to cancel somebody else’s DS. It would be pretty nasty.
7 -
Then they can add time limit. If anyone heals you for 10 seconds you will lose DS. If you dont wanna lose your DS you can move and then other survivors cant heal you. I dont know but this is not makes any sense. They nerfed it because if you do stuff you are not tunnelling. But if someone heals you, you are still not tunnelling by killers. What is point.
0 -
I think you’re being totally unreasonable.
7 -
No, i dont. If someone heals and you let them do, that is mean killer is not tunnelling you. Because you had time for get heal. Killer was not tunnelling you. Maybe as @OmegaXII said, deactive DS after get %50 health. So that will give you chance to decline get healing by others. So that will be your choice, get heal or save DS.

They took out what you can control because how many times has a teammate screwed you over because they started healing you after unhooking you unsafely? I know it's happened to me and the killer goes after me. They basically just made it so it can only be deactivated through things you can control to keep it at least viable if used correctly. It would be nerfed way too far if others actions also deactivated your perk.
5 -
If you have time to get fully healed 16 seconds and the killer isnt tunneling you the only thing left to do expect throw is to start doing gens.
When you start doing gens it deactivates. The perk doesent do anything in the situation you are complaining about.
Better complaint would be why does it not deactivate when opening doors.
3 -
Searching chests also not deactivates. I am just saying, it was weak update

Seeing how fast people can heal others, taking that away would be too harsh of a nerf for DS.
They don’t want to make it useless.
1 -
I would be ok with that, under 2 conditions:
DS ONLY deactivates if you get healed, or the existing conditions, anything that progresses the game. If you dont progress the game, it doesnt deactivate. No time limit.
It activates after every hook.
As you said, its and anti-tunneling perk, so it should work with that.
2 -
You want it to deactivate when someone else heal you? Fine but there has to be a fair trade off.
If this happened then make it so that you can stun the killer twice. Tunneling is tunneling regardless of I it's the first and second hook right? This change will make it a true anti tunnel perk.
Also make it so that you don't leave any scratch marks or blood trails after the stun. (Remember true anti tunnel)

Healing without perks takes 16 seconds, healing with Sloppy takes 20. That gives the killer plenty of time to go back to the hook and tunnel you.

I have seen two people complain about ds after the nerf. One had a thread where he defended tunneling. The other has a freddy profile picture.
Why am I not surprised

You just don’t want people to play the game at this point right? Maybe you’re trying to push a single player experience? Try Resident Evil?

DS got nerfed hard, dont cry a river over it, survivors can get healked by others even when they dont want to. sometiems you are standing and someone starts healing u is very commun so no, its fine now.

Dude are you fing serious? Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth.
1 -
And it's the killer's choice not to go for the person that was unhooked within the last ten seconds.
1 -
Lol, you are ridiculous

And here are Killer Mains asking for more and more.
There is no control over getting healed by others. If someone unhooks me and instantly presses M1, why should my DS be gone at this point?
2 -
you dont even need ds when you have an entire extra health state. you are pretty much just wasting the survivors time healing you
0 -
No honey, it will limite with %50. So if you get heal %50 you will lose DS. Before that you will have enough time to decline heal.
0 -
So what anyway?!
If the rescued survivor is healed by a teammate because the killer isn’t tunnelling, they still get their DS disabled the moment they’re engaged in anything else, unless they continue wasting the remainder of their 60 seconds just because they want to keep their DS for as long as possible.
If the killer decides to go after them again if they spot them, that’s on the killer for being stupid.

Since you are already asking for something as ludicrous you may aswell demand DS to deactivate when throwing pallets and vaulting windows because why not?.
His whole post reeks of him tunneling hard and managing to eat a DS from a full healed Survivor and we cant have that now, can we?.
4 -
16 seconds you can get heal. That mean you will take 2 hits for down. And you will still have protection of DS for 44 seconds. If they wanna make it anti-tunnel those stuffs also have to make it deactive:
+%50 health.
+Opening any gate.
+Searching chest.
And ofcourse for balance buff it:
+DS can use twice (after all hooks)
+If killer leave survivors dying status, DS time will stop.
I just dont think last update was sense or fair. It was lazy nerf.

Why are we having this discussion? This feels borderline like bait but regardless.. I highly doubt this is problematic to the point that it's affecting things for killers.
If I safely unhook someone who has DS and I heal them under hook with We'll Make It I don't see why their DS should activate. What if the killer comes back and decides to tunnel them? How can I know that they have DS? There's too many variables and it's better this way because it can't be abused anymore.
2 -
I am not tunneller killer lol. And as survivor i am not using this perk anymore. I am discusing only because perk is not making sense. Perk cant stop tunnel, only can make little slow. And also you can still do something or can get heal while you are not tunnelling by killer.

Because ds deactivates with the user's actions, it doesn't effect other player's actions. Meaning if I have ds and the unhooker decides to attempts to heal me in any way, I don't get punished for it
0 -
Look at the description of the perk, the design the devs went with it blatantly obvious. The player with DS is the one in control of the perk deactivating, all of them except 60 seconds passing involves that particular survivor making the decision to hold m1 to do something. Someone else healing them does not fit that design.

Freddy players everyone

Some people can never be satisfied.

Searching chests is also not the objective it could also give more insentive to search chests so you dont immediatly hop on a gen. Id say chests arent really a bad one as it could potentially help the killer.
0 -
Don't let other survivor heal you, don't let them heal you under the hook. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you are a bit far from the hook and the killer have nurse's calling or simply spot you while you are being healed, bad luck, sh*t happens.
