The grind is not so bad anymore

Hear me out before you kill me in the comments but...its kinda true, yeah the grind is much but not extremely bad.

Since a few months we get a lot of extra bloodpoints, like:

Archiv missions (are free, you just have to buy the pass when you want the cosmetics)

Bloodpoint codes

All that extra BP is offset by the new character's.

it isnt as frustrating when it doesnt take 150 bloodwebs just to get a perk you want

There shouldn't be a grind in the first place. It's an outdated relic from 2016. If I wanted to grind a lot then I'd just play Destiny or something. There shouldn't be levels in my opinion, if you have a character then you should just have their teachables unlocked already, no grind needed. They could just remove perks from the bloodweb and keep it purely for add-ons and offerings. They won't, but I wish they did. I'd love to try weird and wacky builds but I don't have the energy to grind for hours or even days to get the perks I want.

I disagree. If there wasn't something to grind for, this game couldn't survive. There's always something to do so people never feel like they're playing for nothing. They maybe could lower the grind by removing perk tiers, but that's it.

Maybe if you don't prestige characters and don't get every perk. But it's a pretty big hassle. I think they could/should reduce it.

I somewhat agree with you. I'd keep the P3, Bloodweb and perk farming but.

You get more perk per bloodweb and when you P2 a killer/survivor you then his perk will automatically be level 3 on other bloodweb.

Old and very active player already have most if not all character P3 and grinding for 8 character (4killer/4survivor) every year is not bad at all but for a new player/ an average player who'd like to try some build outside of custom game the grind is so ######### long.

New characters means more grind. No, it's still getting worse despite the added codes and monthly rank rewards/rift.

I have to wonder if you people that like the grind or think it is fine have been playing for less than 6 months like I have.

This is honestly a great suggestion. It would also be nice if for every prestige level, you get more perks appear at each level of the bloodweb and are able to actually unlock more at each level.(As in more than 2, not increasing each individual level) Allowing two above level 50 was a step forward, but not big enough even at the time the devs added it in.

Chapter 19 added 33.8 million bp to the grind.

Chapter 20 will add 34.7 million.

They should really just get rid of perk tiers. There's no reason to have them anymore because there are so many perks.

The thing is, yes, the BP-Codes and Archive Challenges reduce the grind. However, there is still A LOT of grind.

I have 5600 hours, I have every Perk unlocked on every Survivor (except for the new one and her Perks) and many Killers with every Perk (except for Trickster and his Perks). I was not optimal during all the time, e.g. a huge portion I only played my Mains and did not put any BPs in other Characters. However, I am not even close to being finished and have more hours than many other players.

And, a BP-Code for 100k BPs, what is that? 2 Bloodwebs. This is 4 Perks. Like, whenever a new Character comes out to get their Perks on other Characters, you need to do at least 5 Bloodwebs, if I am calculating correctly to get all Perks. This is far easier on Killer, since they get much more BPs and have easier access to double BPs. However, this will also take long, even if you play Killer all the time with BBQ equipped.

    The grind is still massive.

Or even every prestige removes 1k bp from every item so at p3 common is free and ultra rare is 4k

I mean, you're not wrong but I'd still like some bit of grind.

If it wasn't completely RNG and over 95% of all survivor and killer perks weren't literal trash I'd be fine with it. But sadly...it's entirely RNG and over 95% of all perks are trash. Plus you have to get these perks 3 times to get them out of the way, increasing in price everytime you unlock the next tier.

    It's an awful system

I've been hunting for BBQ and chili on hillbilly. I've unlocked 74 perks, but still no BBQ. The grind in DBD is like the grind in some ######### free to play mobile game. I've been playing for 1500+ hours and I still haven't finished unlocking perks. The grind is ######### awful, and new players should be warned that their options for playing will be extremely limited unless they plan to invest 1000+ hours into the game.
