Will we see a new version of the game or a graphics update?

Looking at the maps, the game just isn't scary anymore.

Sometimes the maps like Autohaven and MacMillan Estate remind me of a maze or a dollhouse. Because everything built for loops and not designed in the way we "made" the environment a loop (If you know what i mean.)

We just look at two rocks and a big pallet and we know that we need to do a mind game or gain smallest distance from the killer, only if we use that pallet or running in loops.

Chases are not fun because there is no variety. We can't stun with a small rock, we can't close doors or lock them with woods or chairs, we can't get trapped inside the killer's room and scream for the rescue and so on.

I know the game is relatively old but when i look at the map of Silent Hill - Midwich Elementary School, i feel scared and excited to play there even though the map is not my favorite but the quality and the design is the style that the game should focus on. Midwich reminds me of Dead Frontier 2 buildings and Last Year school. dark and mysterious, a place that once was peaceful.

What is the chance that there will be Dead By Daylight 2? Darker maps and this time a different design. not loops that looks like a domino and more options during chases and survival. it can be similar or better than Friday the 13th.

Graphics update and maps or a new version of the game, will make me so happy.

We really need to bring back the horror.

    Personally I want a first person survivor mode. That could potentially make this game actually scary, and I understand that's not entirely the point of dbd but I just can't imagine how much fun that would be

    This game is not horror game anymore lol

    You can loop killers forever and you can t-bag them, you can annoy them with flashlights. Killers are not danger. Only this game scary, when i play as killer and see lobby with 4 x P3 Claudette...

    So here's the unfortunate reality of the question. The short answer is never.

    You see every game has a base from which the devs build from and the dbd devs have been working with about the same base for years. Here's where the problem comes in, with the game as it is now, they can't change the base without the whole house crumbling.

    In terms of dead by daylight 2 it will most likely not happen as there is no reason for them to ever touch the idea. They might reformat some things to fit a much bigger roster but that's all.

    In essence the game will never change from its base so don't ever count on it being horror again.
