Idea to add a new mechanic to Doctor's power
What if he could charge up his weapon to insta-down survivors with it?
Just a thought, he is a pretty weak killer once you know how to run him around or without discipline addons.

Absolutely not. The killer with the biggest anti-stealth and plenty of gimmicks doesn't need one shots.

I don't think so. He is decent and I would put him at the lower end of the B tier. He is all about information and his shock therapy becomes less and less useful against any survivor that knows how to hold W.

I don't think the Doctor needs help there. He already has:
Free tracking/antistealth with his static blast.
Built-in slowdown with madness skill checks and forcing survivors to snap out of it at madness 3 before they can do gens again.
Can deny the use of pallets and windows with a carefully timed shock therapy to score free hits.
Pretty much the only things he doesn't have are mobility, built-in stealth, and instadowns. And he shouldn't get those because if he had mobility on top of the rest of his kit he'd be busted, he can't be stealthy because his power functions by going in loud and proud, and he really doesn't need instadowns because he can, as mentioned, end chases very quickly with properly timed shock therapy for free hits.

I like the idea of his kit. It has the tracking and anti loop, especially since they reworked him I don't think he really needs changes such as an insta down.

Yeah I guess, it was just a lil idea I had since Doctor lacks lethality against good survivors. Although @Dovahkat963 I wouldn't say the snap out of it action counts as legitimate slowdown since it is so short though. I do agree with everything else though.

Good god no. And I’m a Doc main myself. His kit is already as bloated as Freddy’s. The last thing he needs is an insta-down built into his power without perks/add-ons.

He definitely lacks against good survivors, but adding an ability with his current addons would make it kinda overpowered. A good example is the discipline and electrodes combo which is of course one of his best addon pairs, it shuts down loops and makes it extremely easy for the doc to catch up. This paired with a hypothetical insta down ability to me doesn't seem very fair. Other killers like bubba for example don't have anti loop while having an instant down so its not completely busted.

Doc’s my second most used killer. Clown is number 1.

Doctor is not bad killer lol
Myers, Trapper, Trickster, Demo and some killers need buff. Doctor is fine.

I didn't say he was bad, just weak. I might have implied that though.
However the doctor is definitely on the weaker side of killers for sure.

I honestly feel that too few players that use Doc play to his strengths. Doc can cause immense stall in the match, but too many Docs waste Blast as a tracking tool, never hitting any survivors with it. Not many know how to anti-loop with Doc, and break the wrong pallets.

Oh hell no. He’s a decent killer and doesn’t need that heavy of a buff.

I personally think the beauty of doctor is that the better you get at using his shocks the more rewarding using it becomes. Even a survivor that pre drops can often be forced on one side of a pallet with a shock and score you and easy hit since they can’t fault for a short period of time. He’s a more difficult killer to perfect as many people play different against him but if played well he punishes greed for those who keep looping a pallet or vault and those who use resources too quickly. Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing SOMETHING a long ways down the line that could make his power a bit more friendly for beginners but there’s so many other killers that need serious help now cough trickster cough

He's already bloated with mechanics and VFXs that add an extra ability to his kit: frame-drop the survivor to score a hit.
