Round 2! How many times have YOU gotten to use new DS?
I don't run it a lot, but it's currently 22 out of 40 potential uses (matches brought).

I never used it to begin with. DS was and still is a crutch. If you don't like getting tunneled, get better.
Personally i think tunneling is fine because at least i still get to play the game. Facecamping on the other hand...

I have used it a few times after the nerf.
I have used it in the exit gates and got out. I have also almost used it when I was playing with my friends. I had my friend get off the gen he was on in order to make the killer think I was the one who did it and he chased me. Everything was going so well untill I realized I haven't used ds in a while and forgot how to hit the skillcheck and missed it. It would have been a great mindgame.

3 matches I've brought it, 3 matches I've gotten use out of it.
Contemplating putting it in my main build ngl.

none

Everytime I bring it, I don't get tunneled, everytime I don't I do get tunneled.
2 -
I never ran DS in the first place, but seen people hit it twice? They still got tunneled to the ground because, guess what, it doesn't function to counter tunneling. We need actual game mechanics that deal with camping and tunneling rather than relying on perks to cover for bad game design.

That's a foolish thing to say. "If you don't like getting tunneled, get better." You can be the best and still have no control over the killer tunneling you.

Quite a bit actually, killers are getting really tunnel-heavy now so DS is doing its job. It's either immediate tunnel into pick-up or immediately slugged off hook because I don't see BT a lot anymore, so unbreakable is also staying in my build more often now because I'm getting sick of this playstyle.

I bring DS only when I have a pattern of matches where I wish I had it. Since the update, I haven't used it yet.

As a rule,. being good makes you more likely to be tunneled, in fact. And in those cases, the 60 seconds won't be enough because you're good, and even if you do hit it, what does it matter? You'll still be tunneled to death since it's only a 5 second stun.

Lol, this is the stupidest statement yet. "I get tons of use out of it, its worthless". GTFO with that dumb comment, its no longer abusable, not worthless. Killers tunnelling are getting hit the exact same as before if they're ACTUALLY tunelling.

I haven't been counting or anything but it certainly feels like I get to use it more often than before the change. But then again I never really went out of my way to "weaponize" it whenever I did equip it, but it seems like it's more common people just take the risk even when it's 100% guaranteed it didn't deactivate (like popping BT directly off hook, then chasing the survivor down and insta-picking up after they're downed).
Anecdotal of course, but it has been that way for me.
1 -
Once or twice. Don't use it often though.

Quite a few times. There are a lot of killers that tunnel right off the hook.
0 -
If u don't get to use it that's probably good thing because that means there's no tunelling in game
0 -
Plenty. What do you mean by potential uses?

I blame my teammates more for this. I see it usually happening when they go for the unhook within 5 seconds. The killer then has a choice to go after me or them. When I play killer, I usually go for the unhooker, but it's probably fair game to go for the person you just hooked. It's a team, after all.

Almost every single game I've played I've used DS (and still gotten tunneled afterwards, but by then they'd lost ~3 gens for their effort). Lots of killers will literally ignore healthy teammates and go for me- also healthy- after they've healed me.

I have hit at least 25 DSs. I hit it ten times on Friday night alone. One game killer got hit 3 times. Still a good perk

I had it activate 6 times. I hit it twice. It says a lot about why I don't use it. Its wild cause I have no problem with overcharge or opression just DS for some reason.

I haven't been using it but I used to use it the vast majority of the time before it was nerfed.
I mostly play SWF with my brother and we've both simply agreed to replace DS with BT. So as long as we save each other, we're ok. But I can imagine in solo queue I might start using DS again because I'd have to depend on randoms to use BT... which they don't always use, of course.
Interestingly, the vast, vast majority of the games I've played have had no obsession. So killers don't respect the potential DS anymore. I think the devs should remove DS from being obsession related to counteract this.

I can agree with this, there's not much reason for it to be an obsession perk anymore.

If the killer was tunneling me? Always. If the killer went for someone else? Never.
I think it's in a better spot right now.

I played like 9 games yesterday and could have used it in 3 of the games if I had it on; but I don't run it.
It works fine if you are being tunneled like right off hook. You just have to be careful if it's a stealth killer and make sure they are on someone else before you give your DS up to do a gen or anything.
The threat of DS existing has been and always will be it's strongest feature.

It's a just in case perk I rarely get use out of it but there's so many occasions where I take it off and wish I had it

All these anecdotal stories don't really tell me that there's an actual increase in tunelling, especially with how so many survivors don't know the correct definition.
But even if there is a statistical tunnelling increase, it would just be killers testing out the change, seeing how prominent and punishing the new DS is. If survivors continue to get consistent DS value, tunnelling will slowly decrease in coming months as killers get it out of their system.

I only get DSed when i expected it, and wants it to happen. Never get DS for just snowballing since the update which is really nice.
