######### is wrong with people
I’ve just come from a match and for absolutely no reason they were just clicking the flash light at me body blocking doing whatever they could to piss me off. If that doesn’t put people off being killer I have no idea what will. I’m still learning and it’s quite disheartening for me. I wasn’t toxic and the match had literally just started.
I know I shouldn’t let it bother me but I feel so frustrated now so much I loaded into another match and didn’t do anything.
Any tips on how to not rage 😂😂😂🤷🏻♀️😪

People will be toxic in any game. Tbh, there's not much to do but just ignore it. Don't feed into their toxicity because that's what they want from you!
Stay safe though <3

Take Franklin's + Bring a killer not to be fk'd with = Now they're the frustrated ones.
4 -
Any suggestions? I’m pretty new to killer so I’m just trying them all out.

Yeah happened to me yesterday twice. I'm a rank 10 and they all were purple or red with one green surivor...
3 toolboxes 1 flashlight. When I downed my 1sr survivor they all surrounded me, body blocked me, tried to blind me, destroyed nerby hooks and used that perk to force me drop survivors early.
Yeah they didn't even bother to do gens, simple bully game that lasted for about 30 minutes cause I suck. I ended up camping each one of them in the basement.
I just wish I could leave the match without disconnecting. Like opening the gates early or whatever. I didn't have fun and I waste my free time with this bunch of jerks

Thank you I’ve just got a deep burning rage right now and needed to vent haha
1 -
Slug them all.
5 -
Bully squads become much less of a problem with experience, because they are easy to punish as they spend more time trying to bother you than doing the objective.
Unfornately a lot of bully squads will try to keep themselves at lower ranks so they can get matched against newer killers, because they know good killers will destroy their attempts to bully them.
Best thing to do is not to take it personally and just try to improve yourself.

This was my match today I took it so personally and I shouldn’t but it has really pissed me off now and I know I should move on but I’m raging haha
Sorry it happened to you though it’s not okay.

I tried I got three but they were red ranks and I’m rank 17 😂😂😪
1 -
Yeah it makes me mad as well. I don't get mad if I face a really good surivor who can loop me or just blind me when I do not expect it. But survivors playing to just make the killer feel like a fool? Yeah that's just sad, especially if I always play fair.

Wraith might be the most noob friendly killer i can think of, Huntress or cowboy if your experienced with FPS games, Spirit is the most hated killer in DBD and relies a lot on audio.

Unfortunately it takes experience to get the better of those that probably have a lot more time in game than you do. This usually happens when players feel they have superior skills than their opponents. So they come in a little cocky.
I don't understand it. Maybe it is to relive the glory of their middle school years which were probably the highlight of their lives. As far as how not to take it personally and get frustrated. Well this is something that I hope all of us work on in our lives. I would suggest yoga and weight lifting. After throwing some weight around, all my stress melts away. Plus it's nice to know if you meant them IRL, they would probably keep their mouths shut.
But meditation helps, as well. Remember you are a good person with tremendous value. It this is only a game.

That was literally it, really just to torture me for simply playing killer. It’s very sad as it’s supposed to be enjoyable and I could feel my face burning so I made me lose focus
0 -
I had a match similar to that with 4 Megs.
0 -
I’m not sure how intimidating in person I am but I’m only 5,1 😂😂🤷🏻♀️ But I hear you. I think I just need to get over the initial rage and get better at the game thank you
0 -
Certainly! But even without the intimidating factor. Weight lifting in general does allow you to get out a lot of frustration and stress. Yoga is great too and easier to do at home.
Good Luck in the fog my friend!!

i remember the day a death slinger caught me escaping at the door good times 😭😂
ill try hag in my next match I love how unique they all are. I have a few funny matches with ghost face.
that match I had was doctor must of not liked my outfit 😂😉

That's pretty much dbd in a nutshell but don't think about camping, tunneling or slugging etc because the same people who act like that expect you to play by their rules otherwise YOU'RE the toxic one. 😂😂😂
1 -
Thank you gyms re open on Monday so I can take my rage out there! Thanks for the support
1 -
yeah the rule book for killers seems pretty large where the one for survivors isn’t even a paragraph. 😅
0 -
Exactly that. Survivors act like that on the regular and are surprised that most killers are fed up with it and tunnel or camp a lot more these days. They've brought it on themselves, so play however you like and don't bow down to their fake rules. They clearly don't care about the killers fun so you shouldn't care about theirs either.
2 -
Yeah I wanted to be as fair as possible but I’m just not prepared to take that if it happens it happens but I’m just going to try focus on improving so it can’t. Thanks so much I’ve calmed down I think 😂😆

Are you not playing killer? Hit them dude...
I love when survivors do that ######### to me. It's literally free hits/points and sometimes free kills. Why complain about your opponents throwing a match?
0 -
well yeah I was trying and I downed three but the other one was just better than me I’m new to killer and they were tormenting me. I would never dream of being like that when I play survivor. That’s my point they weren’t even doing objectives. Just running round me.
I want to enjoy it not feel frustrated that was entirely my point.

Anytime my friend!!

to be fair killers need to be buffed more
0 -
It's okay this game really gets you that way sometimes it can be very frustrating. Sadly toxic behaviour is just a staple in this game.
0 -
Isn't that even better? 3 free downs AND they're not getting gens done. That's the dream!
0 -
Probably and once I learn to overcome the rage I’ll be loving it but it was my first time playing doctor and i was just hoping I could you know enjoy it 😆 I was so wrong lol.

When survivors do that crap to me, there are two options: slug (only works if they're cockier than they are skilled), or stare at a wall and go do something else. Any time they waste not doing gens is just them wasting their own time 'cause I'm watching videos or grabbing a snack while they're stuck in the game.
Survivors who want attention get annoyed if you don't give it to them. I know this is true because I've had survivors DC rather than do gens and take the free escape. Since I always play whichever side has the faster queue, I take a bit of enjoyment out of the fact that afterwards I'll get an instant match whereas they just waited in queue for a dud match after which they're going right back into that queue.
I also recommend never waiting in queue to play if you're not playing SWF. A solo survivor match or killer match that goes poorly is made more awful if you had to wait for it. Instant queues mean you get out of the crappy match and can instantly move on to a new match rather than having to sit around thinking about how much that previous match sucked.

If you're new to killer and haven't bought any dlc's hillbilly is a good killer to use. He takes a bit of learning but can one hit down survivors with his chainsaw, which will save you a lot of chase time if you can consistently get hits.

The harsh reality is that we share this world with some truly nasty individuals.. sociopaths, violent and abusive people whether it’s physical or verbal, you name it.. they play video games too.
Obviously this is the most extreme example and a lot of times BMing in a video game is just someone’s way of being silly. However.. Dbd is a community built around a very simple etiquette and that is to express and maintain mutual respect for each other. If I play NHL online and there’s slashes after the whistle or bm after a hit it’s them playing the legitimate roll of “agitator”. If it’s a league tournament online for example there is etiquette that is actually enforced the same as in playing hockey in real life. You shake hands after the game and you don’t celebrate during a blowout out of respect. In life and in games it’s still never executed perfectly at all times and that’s when it’s on us to not allow something or someone to have an impact on how we feel. We may have an initial reaction to something but ultimately we get to decide how the rest plays out and even condition ourselves for similar situations in the future.
I’m not saying to do this but if someone is tbagging or clicking or whatever 2 minutes into a game and you’re just not feeling like entertaining that type of match then it’s very easy to face a corner and watch YouTube or something while they sit on gens the rest of the match. People can say that’s letting them win or giving up but I promise you that the last thing agitators in DBD want is to sit on gens with an afk killer... we’ve all had afk killer games and leaving through the gate means nothing when you were bored out of your mind.
Ps. People can play however they want but I’ve been a part of Dead by Daylight for years and showing mutual respect to both sides is something I gladly partake in and encourage.

Bodyblocking is toxic now, guys.

I mean if it was a a match where they were doing objectives ect no not really but they were purposely just not doing anything sooooo...

Small pp energy.

Hi I actually have them all as I’ve been playing survivor and the intention was to try killer also so I got them all in the sale 😂 I tried billy but he’s quite difficult to control on the chainsaw I guess that just takes some practice though.
0 -
I don’t have one anyways 😂😂👀
0 -
Yeah I could see how it'd be hard, if not billy then bubba could be good too. He's got franklins demise to get rid of their items and bbq n chili to get yourself more bp's. Aside from that don't take any bullying you get in game to heart, people are mean for no reason so don't worry about it.

I just need to stop being a girl 😂😂 I took it way to personally and needed a vent thanks for the advice though. It’s all very helpful
0 -
If it’s too much and you don’t want to DC go to a corner and look at the wall. That pissed them off more than anything cause now they get no enjoyment. Don’t move, don’t do anything. Just force them to do gens and leave. They gain little BP and walk away more angry than if they lost. Read a book or do something else in the meantime. I’ve done this method before.

Thank you, I think I just need to get over it and not rage so much but it was the first time it’s happened to me and I think I probably took it too heart a little.
Ill do that in the future it’s probably for the best.
0 -
I mean...😂😂😂😅 you have made me laugh you’ve really cheered me up haha

Flashlight clicking is toxic, body blocking isn't. Just expect to see much more of this, and worse. This community is notoriously toxic.
0 -
I think it was more so they just hadn’t done a single gen and were just following me I probably shouldn’t have mentioned the body blocking but they didn’t do a single objective until I just gave up.

I’ve been trying to familiarize myself with getting better as Spirit & sometimes I’ll get absolutely smashed. When that happens, I pull out my Huntress Mama & go ham. It all depends on who you feel most confident with.
0 -
That's MMR for you. I usually take those as sort of training rounds; I already know I've lost, and this game is gonna last for a while, so might as well get some training in. I learned how to loop shack in one of those games, and now I'm a rank 1 toxic pig.
0 -
Yeah I just need to get better I think I’m pretty crap and it was quite demoralising but I know I need to get better so I’ll keep trying
but do you take a boop on the snoot or do you take it then maul? 😉

i bet you can throw your hachets across the map too. I just need to get better I suppose lol learn how not to be super emotional.
1 -
No problem lol. But you didn’t deny it so...I’m sorry. Nothing wrong with small tatas
