All-Kill: Overall thoughts?

I just wanted to make this to see what other people thought of the chapter so far. For me, I kinda like it. The design and art is really good, but the gameplay lacks.

So, opinions?

Sincerely, GoobyNugget.

Yun-Jin: I love her design and her perks are pretty fun

Trickster: Weak power and not very fun to fight. Not a great addition imo

Wraith and blight changes are great and much needed

DS change is good but it needs a small buff now

    Overall decent but forgettable

    New old-legion/10.

Man is just as anemic and even has his own version of franks+cold dirt.

I love the look of both characters. Cool lore, too.

I really like all of their perks to varying degrees. Not because they're very strong, but they are unique and fun. I particularly like No Way Out, Starstruck, Smash Hit and Fast Track. Lots of potential for making builds.

The Trickster is fun to use but IMO he needs buffs. He's one of the weaker killers, but I can't say for sure any killer is definitely THE weakest or THE best. He's not a full on disaster like some people like to say but I think the devs should have worked on him more before release.

Overall maybe 6 or 7 out of 10 for the chapter.

    6/10

Killer: Extremely weak. Been trying for adept (btw knives basically can't be used to get it). I've gotten 1 Gold and 4 Iridescent Emblems in my last 3 games (2 Gatekeeper and 1 Chaser which stopped me getting it). His perks are fun and he has a good personality.

Survivor: Ok. Personally not a fan of her current skin and want to see what they do with her later skins. Perks wise I only like Smash Hit.

DS: Overall good changes but the amount games I've played where there is no obsession is literally 4/5. Tunnelling has increased massively and I feel like it needs a slight buff.

Other stuff: Good buffs for Blight and Wraith. Haven't played them yet but from what I've seen they were good.

    Disappointing.

Trickster's gameplay is weak. The k-pop background is cool and all, but I think he would've been better as a female because, well, look at Yun-Jin's priciest outfit with the blue hair. Killers can get cosmetics that are more complex than survivors' since most killers don't need to crouch. So we could've gotten some great dresses and stuff. It woulda been fun to play k-pop dress-up. Instead, we have a male killer who looks like a discount Jared Leto Joker (who is already a discount Joker). Trickster looks more k-pop-y and less Joker-y with the blue hair, but his outfits are still same-y and lackluster.

They could've done someone who looks like Trickster and have him be a mobster/gangster hit-man or something, sporting the same look and power, it would've made no difference to his design, and we could've had a female k-pop star with all the great fashion that would bring. Would've lost nothing and gained much. Instead we have this.

Also, there's no map. No freaking map. The campfire lobby gives an idea of the kind of style map we could've gotten, but no, we miss out on some cool neon Asian dance club.

    Like I said, disappointing chapter.

    The fanservice/style over substance.

The worst chapter, worse than Legion.

    Aesthetic was 8/10

The killer was just a tad bit too flashy and we didn't get a map. I would have loved a neon city map in the night. The sound design and overall theme however was still fitting with DBD.

    Gameplay was 3/10

Very poor, it was fun at first to chuck knives at survivors, but it gets old real quick, he is also debatably worse than Clown. Very weak killer that is too similar to others.

Trickster needs a bit of a buff. I do however really like what he is conceptually. A lightweight Huntress with a power burst a la Myers is definitely intriguing... they just undershot his strength.

Having a map with similar theming as the main menu would have been great. Bit of a missed opportunity there. I have heard that they might circle back and add one though. Here's hoping.

Other than that, the chapter has been pretty great.

Got 3 new Perks, 2 of which i'll at least put to use in meme builds.

Wraith got buffed yet again, and i'm glad that bug got identified as a bug, can't wait for it to go.

    I'm pretty happy, 7.2 out of 10.

6/10, I don't like gameplay patterns of the new killer and a new map is yet again not here.

A huge positive point about this chapter is that unlike 3 previous DLC releases, All-Kill did not break the game in several important aspects simultaneously.

I had a game against a 4K Trickster today, and I really noticed how different they played the character. They didn't greed the knife throws like I've seen most players do. It made me reconsider the possibility that ppl really don't know how to get the most utility out of him yet.

The only downside was how weak Trickster is. Otherwise, amazing chapter.

    A flop

    * Menu screen is fine. I made it instantly better by blaring out disco inferno whilst on it last night, much better. They didn't add any music to it themselves or any music for the match loading screen as opposed to sitting in silence.

    * Killer isn't scary at all and barely passes for a horror character. Power is cool and but completely useless. Overlooked many other horror genre's but after Blight and Twins, they needed to try something different.

    * Cringey fan art all over the twitter and Instagram page that we never had in any of the other 18 chapters.

    * They didn't even bother releasing a map with it

    * Fairly good perks, paid no attention to the survivor ones though.

    Roll on Chapter 20!

Yun-Jin: average perks (they are usually rubbish) and decent design.

Trickster: weak power, reiterative mechanic (more ranged attacks? really? we had 6 out of 9 Killers with ranged attacks since Plague) decent perks, design wise is weird, I dont like the Kpop style but I do like the fact they added another deranged Killer (no more "boohoo they were mean to me so now I kill because Im a poor misunderstood being" crap) and I like to see someone who isnt body horror with gruesome malformations or life threatening wounds, also he looks like he had a shower before entering the trial, the last non dirty Killer was Myers 4 YEARS AGO!!, as I said I dont like the theme but I love the design direction, also solid voice acting.

Reworks: they finally fixed Blight POV and I dislike Wraith overall but I guess he needed something for him.

Bugs: Spirit Fury and pallets not stunning Killers are annoying but at least they are not as savage as Oni's basement bug, Ormond game crashes, Wake Up bug, Twins patch or others so it was a pleasant surprise.

Overall decent chapter even if the Killer is weak (they can always buff him).

This chapter was the worst for me so far. The killer design is really bad and his power is unoriginal and weak. His perks are okayish, but nothing special. No new map, neither reworks. I like the survivor and I enjoy her being a more selfish character. I can't say anything about her perks, since I don't play survivor. But overall, I think that Trickster is the worst killer ever designed, both in art and in gameplay. Huge disappointment.

    Art: 1/10

    Gameplay: 3/10

Feels like it's been 6 months since we had a real chapter. I'd be cool with that if we'd gotten massive game health improvements along the way...

Anyways, this chapter feels as equally disappointing to me as the twins chapter, in that I have no interest in picking up killer or survivor, and I don't see the new killer being played much. Was much happier about wraith/blight/DS changes

    Nice. Cool lore. Good design.

Love that animated release trailer for it.

Unfortunately, the killer still needs a big buff.

Unless BHVR do that at some point, I think the chapter will stay a bit... underwhelming really.

Props to them for branching out and going in a new direction with this chapter, though. It's just that Trickster clearly needs a buff.

The only bad things with this chapter is Trickster being so incredibly weak and horrendous along with the bugs. If you look outside that; it's a pretty good chapter as it introduces buffs to Wraith/Blight, a nerf to DS (thank god) and new perks for both sides that are fun and are somewhat decent/good.

Bugs are to be expected from BHVR, a killer this pathetically weak isn't since every killer but Twins from the past couple of chapters have been strong and Twins can be strong if played scummy.

    I'd give it a 7/10

I mean, the killer is grossly undertuned to the point where I feel like his entire package is an apology to Survivors for the DS nerf.

I'm almost positive a sizable buff is coming though just given how far they missed the mark.

AT VERY LEAST, this chapter they didn't release with everything broken and a killer who was literally unfinished with more of her package to be released weeks after. So its a step up from last one.

I like most of the stuff! The changes to wraith and the blight pov fix are awesome, a decent mix of good-ish perks on both sides. Nothing meta breaking, but a few things you might see in niche builds from time to time.

The killer is obviously pretty disappointing, and there are a ton of bugs suck. But, with dbd you kinda come to expect the bugs, so with the lowered expectations it wasn't too bad. The only one that really gets under my skin is blight sliding on things. I was so excited to play him with the fixed POV, so the sliding is sooooo frustrating!

    Forgettable, unfortunately.

Blight and Wraith changes are awesome. Pretty much makes them both playable now.

Yun-Jin is pretty neat and her perks range from decent to pretty good.

Trickster himself feels like the embodiment of style over substance atm. I like literally everything about him except playing him because he's just so weak. Maybe he'll get better? Who knows.

Trickster's perks are... eh, okay. Starstruck is pretty damn powerful on certain killers, but otherwise, nothing that amazing.

Overall, the chapter was flashy and aesthetically pleasing, but it'll be remembered as the patch that fixed Blight and Wraith, and nothing more in its current state.

Great design, lore, and music. Fun Perks I can’t wait to try on others.

Love everything about the Trickster but how slow he is.

Needs to Lacerate faster or move faster and Lacerate shouldn’t decay.

The new killer is a joke gameplay-wise, a few useful and niche perks are introduced, and gen rush is even more powerful now because of one of those survivor perks. I've seen better.
