Trickster is not a liscence to facecamp
Just had a facecamping trickster and they justified it because trickster is bad and then said "mad cuz bad imagine dying to the worst kill in the game.".

To be fair...How else is the trickster exposed to kill anyone?
I am not justifying them doing it to be a jerk(They kinda outed themselves as such) I am just pointing out that even against the best tricksters I have faced on the best map with the best add-ons can barely 2k with heavy amounts of camping and tunneling.

I don't really think they were the best then. I can get 2k without the best add ons or perks in high rank games without relying on camping or facecamping. I also try my best to not tunnel though admittedly with Trickster camping and sometimes tunneling are necessary in late game.

I wouldnt mind if they tried a bit but they literally got their first down and bodyblocked the hook until I died(it was the one on the gallows on Saloon) If he tried a bit and ended up playing a bit campy in the end I wouldnt mind but like he didnt even give a chance to save he literally made it physically impossible for anyone to save after he got a single down.

People don't need a license to camp. They don't need one for tunneling, slugging, or the Mori. They just choose to do it because they want to do it. Perhaps they think they have to do it to secure that one kill. The tactic is legal and valid; they DEV have stated this many times. It isn't our place to judge them or try to grief them over their tactics. If they want to do it, for whatever reason, the rest of us just have to deal with it. That is the game.
All that being said, I don't think Face Camping (what I call Squatting) is a particularly productive tactic for Killers. It discourages rescue attempts which could lead to more hits, downs, and hooks. Killers who want to stay around a hook should hide nearby (what I call Lurking) or float in the general area and hunt for other Survivors. This is more efficient. If the Killer can Proxy Camp, that is even better.

Yea, they might be the best tricksters you've seen, but an actual good trickster still can 4k against an average team pretty easily. I do 4k most times with him, despite him being bad.

Like 90% of the people who ######### about camping; killer literally did it when it's the best or even only option for the killer at the time.
(Ignoring their attitude, because both their attitude, and probably whoever lead with "lol why facecamp noob" comment or whatever are both people in the wrong)

Against even half decent survivors you are not winning any Trickster game without camping or tunnelling.
He's just THAT bad you need to camp for pressure. It takes him 5 minutes to down someone, no wonder he doesn't want to let them go once he hooks them lmfao

yeah, most trickster players play in a really scummy way. just take it to the chin and wait for the tricksters buff instead of using it as an excuse to use cheap and boring strategies. the worst part about this is that he said "mad cuz bad imagine dying to the worst killer in the game" like dude, if you tunnel someone theyre bound to go down at some point even if you are playing the worst killer in the game

I had like...one trickster play campy out of the dozens and dozens I've had. What rank are you? If you are like super low rank maybe I can see that happening but even the purple and green rank ones I've seen haven't done anything that bad.
Most people playing trickster are the exact opposite, people who don't play like crap because they are the only ones who can stomach it. Most people that care THAT much about getting ONE kill; are going to play something they can actually get that kill with.

If you somehow manage to go down against the weakest killer in the game then you really deserve to be sacrificed, even if it has to be done by facecamping. What else is Trickster going to do? He's unable of scoring kills any other way in his current state.

Tell me exactly how tunneling and camping with Trickster makes him no longer bad. Please. I'm dying to hear how you defend that.
If anything, increasing his kill rate by camping/tunneling will just make the devs think he doesn't need a buff, and he'll stay bad.
I know he's bad. I wanted him to be good and fun. I want him to get a buff. But people like yourself seem to be actively trying to make things worse.

Yes. It is called voting with your wallet. If nobody is buying him, then he gets revisited sooner. If I were to guess, his sales were underwhelming which is why he is getting one of the fastest buffs in history. :)

You’re right. It’s not a license to facecamp. Any killer can facecamp if they like. They don’t need a reason. If a Bubba wants to Insidious facecamp you he can. If an Iri Head Huntress wants to facecamp you, she can. If a sweaty Nurse wants to facecamp you, she can.
I don’t like it. You don’t like it. But the killer does not need to justify anything to you because they can play however they want to.

No. BEhavior uses data to study kills, and they typically take a full quarter before they move on anything (and that is usually fast for them). They aren't buffing him all the sudden because he isn't getting kills. :) They are buffing him because he isn't selling. That is the primary motivation. Every Killer they drop represents a large amount of resources in money and labor. They expect (and jobs are on the line) for there to be a bump in sales (and interest in the game) each time they do so. They have a very reliable up down graphing pattern based on this business model.
The Trickster isn't meeting sales expectations. That is why they are taking dramatic, fast steps.
