They've obviously never played him.
He's not super weak, but he's really easy to outplay if you have decent cover, and on console it's practically impossible to aim his knives with his ridiculous recoil, which is thankfully going.

Some people are just dumb, not everyone on twitter is the same.
Thankfully him getting buffed means BHVR isn't totally braindead and does read/look at actual intelligent feedback from people who are not clueless "mains" with biased views.

That's the same thing....when they say he's weak they mean it's so easy to "outplay" him. You can literally just hold W and do a little bit of line of sight blocking and he just loses because he is too slow to be chasing every survivor down like that; but his power doesn't have the ability to deny things like that because of how long it takes to down someone with it.
So either way you spend so much trying to down one survivor; the match rapidly progresses around you.

That first one shouldn't, and won't happen.
The point of being 110 is because the ranged power is so strong and can deny loops and other such things....ideally. That's why Deathslinger, huntress, etc are also slower.
The problem is his power is just so weak that isn't the case. What will happen is his power itself will be buffed until it's good and effective enough to warrant his slower move speed.
Making him 115 and having a weak rarely used power is literally the worst and most boring way to approach it anyways. You don't hear people complaining about huntress being too slow and people find her incredibly fun, because her power is good.
Main event however is still going to need work I am sure. Need to see how the movement speed changes affect him and such in game, we'll see. It might make his main event more functional, but I doubt it will be enough.

deathslinger and huntress are slower because they can injure survivors in 1 hit with their ranged attacks and down in 2 hits. (1 hit with iri head)
trickster injures in 8 hits and downs with 16
He should be 115% or increase the power of his blades.
Trickster can get cucked at just a big ######### rock because he's too slow and his blades don't deal enough damage to even break that loop.

This was a very boring solution and I'm glad they didn't go with it. He's a unique killer and he deserves a good and engaging power- not to just be a 115%ms mostly m1 killer.
I was also aghast at the twitter. I dunno what game those people are playing.

You literally just proved what I had said..... Those are all problems with his power just being too weak, which should and is being addressed.....making him just an M1 killer with a shittier power than what it will eventually be is NOT the way to go. It won't be either, so you can pretty much get that out of your head because it's never happening.

Nerfing trickblades at some way was kinda necessary, after seeing how people were cheesing it by letting the blades bounce from the ground behind the survivors. The alternative would have been not allowing bounces from the ground. But that probably would have take more time and limit the possibilities of the blades. Adding a second bounce and a point event made kinda more sense.

you have to be in M1 range to get trickshots from the ground like that though. Useless at long range. Still requires like 4 hits to injure. 8 to down.
Huntress is only 2 or 1 hit to down and can do it from long ass distances.

They aren't wrong at all. Most are dying every game because survivors too weak. It's not only Trickster, but most of the killers are too OP. Trickster just happens to be the least OP. It should never take a full SWF sweat team to have a slight chance to win. BHVR needs to get their act together.

But they can be extremely OP. All one needs is good perks. And camp, tunnel. Literally every patch is a killer buff when they are already OP.

- On the actual argument, being OP is just bad for balance and an enjoyable gameplay experience, which is bad for the game. On the flip side, there is no such thing as an OP killer in this game if we're talking about their ability to win a match rather than focusing completely on chase mechanics.

So I searched for the buff-announcement tweet and scrolled through the replies..
i legit only saw replies that said Trickster needed buffs, needs even more buffs or they simply thanked BHVR for this relatively quick response to the feedback. I didn’t see one reply saying Trickster doesn’t deserve a buff.. how far did you scroll for those replies?

Sad huntress slinger noises. They should legitimately increase a slinger, trickster or huntresses ms to 115 only for indoor maps bar game map.
