Your Chat Filter really SUCKS
It censors really stupid stuff, including NAMES of PORNSTARS. Mia Khalifa, Riley Reid. Sasha Grey.

But seriously! at least give me an option to disable it. You have a lot of gore in your game and I can't type a name of a porn star? #########? :D
I mean, it's not just the name of porn stars, I came across some really stupid censorship that are whacky.

And why again there is no option to disable it? That's also really a mindless decision. Was it just laziness in coding an option to disable it? Cause basically it should be mandatory to have an option to disable a profanity filter. You know, not all of your player base is 12 years old :smh:

Yeah, it censors so many non offensive things for some reason that it basically makes it hard to just chat at all.
It's really really bad and needs to be removed until they can fix it.

Sure but I feel like there should at least be a whitelist of normal things that should never need to be censored, say for instance CHARACTERS IN YOUR OWN VIDEO GAME, maybe, for example.

The chat filter should be optional and tbh shouldn't even be there, just give the option to enable or disable chat at that point. Also, this game is for 18+ and i wanna know who the people are that get offended by 'myers' and 'meghead' because thats absolutely ridiculous.

My friend also couldn't say "sensual."
This game is rated M for good reason why on earth does this profanity filter even exist? A horror fan blushing at some strong language is a hilarious concept. Like I could maybe see if it actually filtered out select actually bad slurs or something for the sake of preventing harassment, but as is it seems to arbitrarily sensor every 5th word because ######### you that's why.
Bonus when you're trying to say something funny/nice and the game is just ########## #### so it looks like you're raging.

I really hope someone from the dev team see that...
1) Remove the chat filter, it has no room in a 18+ game. it is a poor choice.
2) alternatively, should be disabled by default, and have people actively enable the chat filter if they're precious snowflakes.
3) fixed the stupid words included inside.it's just wayyy too crude.

We're in 2021, because of many MMORPG and the social networks, text censors have dramatically improve, but there we have the worst censor ever created, AND there is no way to disable it in a M rated game, where in any other games or social networks you can ?

Its like when Valve censored free to plays to stop bots from spamming the chat. Chat filters in DBD is such a pathetic nothing-fix to the problem of post game toxicity. Why even have a post game chat at that point if you can barely say anything?

That "constant updated" thing is BS to the least. It's a really bad and unprofessional chat filter. OH NO SOMEONE WROTE "PP" LETS CENSOR IT! There are thousands of examples of how just BAD and amateur this chat filter is. Whoever provided bhvr with this joke of a code should give them their money back. Or maybe someone paid them to use this pos? Honestly I can't tell at this point.
Also, it censors legitimate words, if you write w t f (the full words), it will censor the WHAT THE too.
Nevermind the fact that such stupid chat filter should not exist in a MATURE (M) rated game, with so much gore in it, or at least give an option to disable it!
