Gen regression in this game is garbage. Doesn't help survivors can gen tap in your face and halt regression.
5 gens can get done in under 6 minutes.
gates can get done super quick too
game is stacked in the survivor's favor

Yeah back in the day survivors could open both gates and just urban evade around until the killer went afk due to boredom or somehow found them with whispers. It was pretty horrible so EGC solves that problem completely which is amazing.

Why are you acting so entitled?
If you are led up to the point where survivors are 99-ing a gate, then you obviously lost that match.
You trying to force hands of survivors who are clearly better than you at the game makes no sense whatsoever.
Just learn to be a better killer and prevent this from happening in the first place. Sheesh.

I get that EGC isn't meant to give any advantage, but 99ing completely invalidates Blood Warden. You won't get it to proc 9/10 times because of this. They could at least adjust BW to make it a little more consistent.

I've suggested a few times a similar effect be added to Hex: Ruin, like a bonus for that lil bastard staying up all game somehow. Or maybe tack it into Remember Me?

Stacked in su--- Play solo, its not stacked unless youre against a SWF. Or you're just not that good. Practice or try a new killer.

I dont know what a better result would be im not a game dev but I can tell you that the EGC was just a band aid fix, and generally under its current form yeah just kill everyone or be down to one or 2 people by the time all the gens are done otherwise you are screwed. If all 4 people make it to EGC then im gonna lose well over 90% of the time

We can do it so I can farm bad killers and teammates (I'm looking at you nancy mains) for benevolence and evader emblems. I'm glad BHVR is so kind to keep this that way I can easily stay as a rank 1 survivor

Ok, but what about perks like Remember Me or the new Trickster perk in play? If the EGC starts once gens are complete, survivors will only have seconds to get the gates open and escape.

If they can't 99 the gates, they're just going to leave.
If they did 99 the gates, they're still trying to make plays. Which means you can still make plays.
You'd be amazed how many times people don't make it back to that 99'd gate.

While you're right that seems like a bit of a waste. Mean EGC could be something intense for both sides making an exciting last minute of gameplay where all players involved do there best to come out on top (assuming its done correctly to not favor either side) but instead its more of a referee blowing a whistle telling everyone to pack up and its mostly up to the survivors when that happens. Seems... lackluster.

Motivation for people to take their win and go maybe? When I started playing killer and I got games where I got absolutely stomped for not knowing what I was doing those people typically had the decency to just leave and be done with it but the few time I get outplayed badly at lower ranks winning isn't enough so they have to rub it in once all the generators are done and in the end game chat. The EGC mitigates this to some point but people still do stupid stuff till the time runs out. I've gotten used to it but it can be quite aggravating.

I do feel like survivors 99% gate make it more survivor side then killer,the killer open it does nothing for the killer
99% just a way for survivor to have a fast get away out after saving they teammate with out worry about the EGC

The problem: The gate is 99'd.
The solution: You open the gate.
If they couldn't 99 the gate: They would just open the gate anyway.

99ing gates gives too much control to the survivors. A killer will only open a gate due to being fed up and wanting the match to end, but survivors are able to make easy escapes by 99ing. It completely counters Blood Warden and the EGC event, giving them time to make a rescue, set up body blocking, and escape.
EGC isn't supposed to help killers get kills, but it shouldn't be something survivor's can bypass entirely. Make it neutral. Regressing exit gates would incentivize survivor's actually committing to opening gates and not cheesing the system.

That's fine because the only reason they don't open it and leave it at 99 so it doesn't trigger EGC so they are given time to collect garbage from the basement and help whatever friends that are hooked.
That's the only reason they 99 a gate.
But still even if they 99 a gate me opening the gate doesn't help either.

Gate regression with how gates spawn would make puppydog guarding the gates probably the saddest pastime in the world.
Imagine getting away from a doctor who keeps shocking you off the gates literally right next to eachother.
Or a trapper.
Or a hag.
Or a huntress with line of sight.
Maybe make the gates start to automatically open themselves at the last 5%. Other than that, the second best solution is what we have right now.
