Is there a problem with pallet stuns?

Besides the usual nonsense of getting hit through them, The Killer doesn't ever seem to get stunned. I was trying that new perk I think it's Fast Track and I'm not getting credit for it.

    @RoboMojo thanks for the info

    @Echorion yeah I'm used to that already, including getting vacuumed from a mile away. I just knew something was up with the stuns, so ig the best thing to do is just drop a little early? Thanks

    I mean, if you can sure.

    The thing is you getting hit or not hit is pretty much the same, unless dedicated servers do their usual bit, the bug doesn't affect that really in all honesty. If you get hit "over a pallet" that is what happens when it would have been a hit for a stun trade normally, if it wouldn't have been, the killer is just pushed back and hits the wood instead. The stun trigger is the same time as the push back.

    Just don't camp a pallet, even if the distance is short and throw it a bit early, since you can't stun a killer anyways really unless they don't swing at all (and most killers even before the bug are gonna swing anyways or step back last second) then there isn't any point. Just drop the pallet.

    It's annoying but it isn't a huge deal, it's not like the broken hitbox problem from a couple updates ago that like ruined everything for a bit haha.

    It's not just swinging! People hear a streamer and think that's that.

    The killer most times will not get stun by a pallet, including walking up to it.

    I got hit when already on the other side of the pallet, at least once in pretty much every match I have had so far. They weren't even close to being dubious hits. Literally on the other side with almost 0.5 seconds of advantage. I checked my ping everytime it happend. 25ms. Hitboxes are messed up again.

    It's one of the principal reasons why I hardly play anymore. It's really tiring and unfun, match after match where you're getting hit from incredible distances. I understand how the servers work and hit validation and some of the issues they face with this unique game where one player is running away from the other but there has to be some kind of resolution. Some kind of middle ground, something other than the killer is always favored. I don't think hit validation goes far enough in remedying this ongoing issue. Yes I suppose killers with 800 ping are no longer getting hits but what about the killers with 350 ping? I've seen killers by watching their streams after the match and it's incredible the disconnect between what I see and what they see. Sometimes they even see that the survivor is too far for hit but somehow it connects anyway.

    My guess is that all of the pallet related issues are because of the new survivor's perk, Smash Hit. If successful, the killer is stunned AND your get a sprint burst. Going out on a limb to say the code currently isn't able to recognize the two game mechanics at the same time but somehow that has translated to pallets never registering actions properly.

    But again - just a guess...
