Spirit is better than Nurse and that's a fact!
I just wanna say I've been playing Spirit and Nurse a lot for an upcoming local tournament. I 100% guarantee that Spirit is a better Killer than Nurse is because Spirit is much easier to use and doesn't get cucked by the Game itself.
Playing Nurse is one of the most frustrating things I had experience as some Blinks will always feel short because some obstacle cant be Blinks across, Nurse is a buggy mess in some maps like in Midwich where you can't look up thus not performing a max distance blink because she will Blink Upstairs! Sometimes in shacks you'll randomly teleport down the basement without intending! Nurse is really unfun if you're going against survivor who knows how to juke like can you feel how frustrating it is to miss a Hit by Pixels? Then she gets fatigue and you feel like its unfair.
Spirit on the other hand is super fun Killer to play as, you just listen and make the correct mindgame. If the Survivor escapes you then it was super well played on their part. At least its not the game itself that cucks her from the hit. and the add ons, with Spirit Add Ons you can really 4K a good squad of Survivors while Nurse Best add ons just make her a shadow of her former self(cd add ons).
Any other opinions on our two femme fetal? Forgot to mention when I play as Nurse, It's already stressing enough to play as Killer then coupled that the frustration, Hate to play as her even if I play well as her. While playing Spirit on the other hand, I really feel like a chad and the power role. You just really had to guess on what the survivor is doing with all your information provided by the game.
TL;DR: Nurse feels unfair to play as while Spirit is a chad.

Yeah, I mean if we were to compare the best player who plays nurse and the best player who plays Spirit, Nurse is just superior. But, while Nurse requires a certain amount of skill and effort, Spirit requires 0. Anybody can 4k decent teams as a Spirit, whether that person is good or bad.

This.
Nurse will always be the best Killer in the game. A good Nurse ignores pretty much all of the chase mechanics. Spirit is just waaay easier to do well with. I don't think Spirit requires zero skill (Unless it's the standing still mindgame, which, yeah, no skill involved there.) but she doesn't require nearly as much as Nurse does to do well.
She's like Freddy in a sense, just not as bad. Neither of them are very hard to learn (IMO) and both are incredibly powerful and can win against most teams.

Good luck getting at least first hits against more or less decent survivors if you're not playing spirit a lot.
Without practise on her and knowledge of how survivors behave, your only chance to win is to hardcamp and get m1 hits.

Nurse is much better than Spirit even if you're a mediocre Nurse. Her chases are just too damn fast.

Spirit is punished a million times harder for missing phase hits than Nurse is for missing blink hits. The Nurse doesn't have to waste time breaking walls or pallets, and the latter--along with pallets--are detrimental to survivors most of the time.
Nurse's skill ceiling is high, but the comparison is that Spirit's skill floor is high. It's much harder to survive an average Nurse than an average Spirit, even. You only get so many chances to juke a Nurse before you lose to attrition, and the fact is that Spirit just doesn't provide anywhere near as many chances for success.

Nurse is objectively better than every other killer in the game
9 -
Spirit is clearly better because of her hidden ability.
No survivors die on the hook faster than against her.
4 -
Freddy might have her beat tbh
6 -
I doubt it. No one, literally no one suicides on hook when they play against me.
0 -
I mean, I play 3 matches as her literally from time to time and this is untrue. Red ranks.
0 -
Nah, even i don't stick around for spirit games. i find a hook point at it and leave. give as little points as possible to them.
Her concept is broken and there is no way to fix it without a full blown power change. They even find me in phase when i am not injured or moving and inside bbq range.
You can't stop making sound as survivor and she gives zero feedback as a killer with to many ways to mess with audio.

Pretty much but the instant I see a red paint brush swing chain Freddy someone is suiciding
2 -
nobody has ever disputed this but nurses highend is still superior to spirit making her the better killer
2 -
She's the easiest most broken kiler by far. I'd not put her above Nurse when it comes to "potential". But for the most players, she's definitely performing better than Nurse.

I don't find freddy that bad tbh.

How many hours do you have? Just for the record.
500? 1000? 2000?
0 -
Neither do I in fact I think he’s quite overrated
0 -
Yeah, I agree. For 90% of the killer players though they'll easily perform better as Spirit. She's like Freddy. 0 brain 0 skill = 4k
1 -
Let me get this straight.
When you find out you are against The Spirit you immediately find a hook and point at it to get the Spirit to kill you as quickly as possible?
Hmm. I wonder if not playing against her has something to do with you not knowing how to play against her. 🤔
2 -
You are completely wrong. And alien was send by god to tell me you are wrong, and thats a fact.
Also, that you might want to look up what a fact is.

This is currently. So now you'll say "obviously, you got so many hours". True. BUT 80% of those hours are survivor. And out of all the killers, I can count the matches as Spirit, for example. I really barely touched her.
0 -
Isn't it true for this case? My girl Rin has more Kill Rate than Nurse and you feel like a total chad playing like her. While playing Nurse i just get stressed af and has a chance that the game cucks her more with bugs that will never be fixed.

As a survivor, it depends on the situation for me. If we're talking mid-ranks, I'd say for sure Spirit takes the crown because of her invisibility. Plus, she's much easier to use so even Spirit's in the lower ranks create more map-pressure than a Nurse who's much more difficult to learn.
However, if we're talking purple/red ranks, absolutely not. Even with a decent survivor team you're lucky to get three gens done against a red rank Nurse. 😂

4 352 × 0,2 = 870,4.
So if your words about having "80% time on survivors" are true, then you still have 870 hours of pure killer experience, not to mention you have ~3500 hours of survivor experience and you have at least decent knowledge of the game. Not even mentioning that at least half of killer success lies in general knowledge of the game.
So answer another question, how long does it take you to get used to a new killer? To me it's usually 1-2 games to learn how to use their ability and 10 more games to learn most tricks.

Think what you want.
Crouching and walking with iron will does nothing against spirit players using sound cards and causing themselves hearing loss.
0 -
Spirit has a lower skill floor, but Nurse has a higher skill ceiling.
What this means is you're going to see more good spirit players. However, a God-Tier nurse will beat a top Spirit any day of the week as her chases will be faster. Nurse just ignores pallets and windows better. yes, she gets blocked by the map from time to time, but the ability to just go right to the person while seeing them on screen as opposed to going invisible and making a guess based on sound, the former is just better.
1 -
I can't. I suck at spirit, I could never get into her. If spirit is so good, why I can't achieve good results with her? Meanwhile, I excel with lower tier killers? Stop overblowing spirit.
1 -
No. Nurse has the hardest punishments for missing hits, not Spirit lmao.
1 -
It's not that Spirit is better; it's that she is easier. Nurse is 100% the strongest killer at high level of play, but you can easily get only slightly less good results (on average) with Spirit with much less practise. Both killers once you have them down remove counterplay for the other side, so it's obvious they're both at the top, but one completely ignores walls and as a result if we talk about absolute maximum potential, Nurse is always going to be on top.
1 -
I disagree. I do like them both, but Nurse is better. And more fun as well.

If it weren't for nurse bugs they'd be on par. Nurse has the ability to go through objects and up and down levels, which is extremely powerful (I remember once I basement hooked someone. And left basement, and then twice in a row I got a blink-grab when they tried to unhook when I was quite far away. No other killer can do that).
But yes, with the unpredictable nutlrse bugs, the spirit is better simply based on reliability
0 -
How long is the Blink cooldown versus the Phase Walk cooldown?
0 -
By that logic Freddy is the best killer in the game. Nurse will always be the best killer in the game. Nobody can touch her potential. If we're looking at who gives the most reward for the least effort Spirit beats Nurse, but the highest potential is always Nurse.
0 -
I feel it's a bit insulting to say she takes 0 skill. You still have to track survivors by sound and scratch marks and make guesses here and there when coming out of phase but for the most part yes, she's an extremely powerful killer that anyone can pick up and get good with fast.
I just don't understand why people say she takes absolutely no skill whatsoever when playing Killer role as any killer requires a lot of you. Way more than it does to play Survivor since you're on your own.

Buy better headphones. That’s all

Nurse has a stronger power which is essentially a ######### you to survivor defenses.
However, not even factoring in the plethora of bugs, Spirit has a more consistent power that puts survivors in lose-lose situations even if it may take her slightly longer to score the down.
It's a matter of risk vs reward and Nurse is much higher risk for marginally higher reward.
So, I see where you're coming from, although opinions will always be split on this one.
1 -
Well no, Spirit still requires a good deal of prediction. Simply hearing survivors is not enough; you have to accurately anticipate their movements to cut them off.
Against baby survivors, she tramples all over them. Against good, more experienced survivors, it's a game of mindgames.
0 -
That's a very bad counter argument. I have good pair of headphones.

The only area where Spirit is better than Nurse is bugs lol. False blinks, 2nd blink not working, etc. Very frustrating to play Nurse imo.
