Am I bad person for playing Bubba?
Like, I don't facecamp or go out of my way to tunnel, but I do play him.

Nah man, play the characters you like to play, no matter if they're op or underpowered. Just please don't take on the thought process of "it's just a game" though, people come to dbd to have fun, whether that be killer or survivor. No need to tunnel and camp for no reason. Sure if it's getting towards the end and you need to do it to win, then that's fine and all but if it's just the beginning of the match, don't ruin someone else's experience like that.

No, even if you tunnel, camp, run ruin, undying, noed and insideous, it doesn't make you a bad person. Don't let others tell you how to play the game. As long as you follow the rules set by the devs you're a-okay in my book. I may not like the strategies you use, but I will not think of you negatively, though I will probably be a little frustrated.
The only things I can think of that killers can do that will make me think they're bad people are:
- Slugging and letting people bleed out just because they can. Slugging for the 4k is different, the slugging I am talking about is when hatch is closed and you can hook the survivor but choose to let them bleed out.
- Working with a survivor to kill their teammates. You should kill the back stabbing survivor, not the ones who are trying to have a fair game.
- Hitting a survivor on hook. It doesn't do much and actually wastes your time but it's obvious that a killer is toxic when they do that.
- Tunneling because you don't like the survivor that the player has chosen and not because you need to. I shouldn't have to suffer when I play Claudette just because the killer has bad past experiences against players who play as her.
- Body Blocking someone in a corner and forcing them to dc in order to move on. That's just outright vile and I hope killers who do this end up with poop as hard, large and rough as a pineapple.

There was this thread from a bit ago where people ranked how fun killers are to go against and Bubba was consistently pretty high on the list.
He has a bit of a bad reputation for face camping, but I think a lot of those opinions were from before his rework. It seems like people are definitely coming around on him now.

Seriously though, I main bubba and I get people are genuinely surprised I don't camp and play him proper. Don't let anyone tell you who you can and can't play.

I have always wondered that and not one killer main has ever answered my question of why killers continually hit you after being hooked and you are floating up after the entity takes you??

It's because the majority of freddy players are people who most likely had bad last few games. So they switch to Freddy, because people turn potato against freddy for some reason. So it's generally an easy win.

You're only a bad person if you tunnel 1 person, camp them to death on their first hook, and do that every match.

I assure you that Freddy mains, like me, are the nicest and most wholesome players in the Fog. You just need to give us a chance to prove it.
I am an exception then, because I actually main Freddy. I am always going to play him, no matter if my last trials were good or bad.
I also play Huntress, but I am so bad with her that I actually have to wait for rank reset, otherwise I am going to derank into oblivion.

Bubba is not necessarily the problem.
The issue with Bubba is that his power attracts the worst gameplay styles. If you don't indulge in those, you're not part of the problem. A Bubba that doesn't camp or tunnel is perfectly fine and fair to play against.

Are people who "facecamp" bad? Thats like saying survivors who do gens is bad. The game is free to play how you want to win. You are only a bad person if you want this freedom to be limited.

facecamping is still a dick move, most players dont even do it to win. they just do it to make the game miserable for one specific person

Try to connect 3 neurons as you read this for a second and you'll understand surv mains:
Imagine you go into a match after waiting for a while in the lobby, you're excited to play a game and have some fun. Then, a Bubba appears, saws you in half, hangs u in the basement, and stays there, insidious, for the rest of the game. The only thing you can do for the rest of the game from this point is just wait and stare at the screen. Is that fun? Is that entertaining? Well, that's what 90% of Bubbas have done to surv mains. If you're lucky, your teammates will realize what's happening and they'll just gen rush and leave, so that Bubba has also lost time doing nothing, but in that case nobody had fun, just repaired gens and left. If you're not lucky, people try to go into the basement to save you, gets sawed in half too, and camped along with you. Wow, what an amazing experience!
Don't get me wrong, I like it when I play against a NOT camping Bubba, it's fun and challenging, but 90% of the time, at least for me, It's just insidious time wasting bubbas.

I've used Bubba for several of the archive challenges, Like any killer, he has his strengths and weaknesses. I've gotten many 4k's with him without insidious camping or other dirty tactics. If you enjoy his play style, keep playing him.

Bad/good person is subjective and are just used to shame or put people on a pedestal.
Evil/good are pure concepts from mankind and as a whole are as meaningless as humanity itself.

It's barely a play style when the killer could be applying gen pressure and getting other survivors instead of camping someone while the others do gens.

I personally do not enjoy going against Bubba whatsoever (his noises during tantrum), but just by you playing him doesn't make you a bad person :) Have fun!! Just don't be the stereotypical Bubba and facecamp lol
