Tome Challenges Should Complete Big Majority of Rift Pass
Completing all of the challenges should guarantee that you'll at least have the rift at least to level 50 I think or give some kind of EXP bonus for the pass owners. The amount of grinding and playing it takes to do the whole thing can be taxing and stressful in the last two weeks.
Edit: Any mods if you can move this to feedback. Realize now that is where this should've gone.

There needs to be an overhaul of the rift grind.
With the current rift (and I'm assuming the previous rifts as well) the challenges alone provide less than half the fragments required to get to level 70. If you completed every challenge in this rift, you would earn 344 fragments when 700 are needed to get to the end.
XP also earns fragments of course, but at 800 XP per fragment and lets say 550 average XP per game, you need to play over 500 matches (I didn't include the extra 600 XP each day if you play at least one killer match and one survivor match, so I guess that helps).
But that comes out to an average of 7-8 matches EVERY DAY for 70 days. Some people might have time for that, but I can't imagine many do. I'm lucky to squeeze in 2 or 3 matches on weekdays and maybe a couple dozen over the weekend.

You are very correct sir. Doing the tome doesn't get you anywhere near rift completion, and only people who spend like 40 hrs a week on the game are guaranteed to complete it.

For a while I completed them with around 20-30 days left to spare but grinding the game like this EVERY tome is getting old and is hard to deal with because I've played so much just to get through this thing that when I decide to take a break from the game and play other games or do other things I have to struggle to complete this thing like now. I'm almost done with challenges and at 41 Its such a grind after the challenges

They need to make it work how they initially said that it would: 1 hour/day in addition to finishing all the challenges = tier 70. Right now, it's 2 to 3 hours/day + finishing all challenges to hit tier 70

The simplest way to do this is increase the rewards for finishing each tome. It's currently 10 rift fragments, which is pretty much negligible. It should be more like 50. That's 200/700 guaranteed for completing it right there.

I play for way more than an hour a day :( When I play I'm usually on for like half the day and this is still taking forever
