Huntress red add-on changes.
Iri Head is pretty much never going to be played because how it restrictive it is.
Soldier's Puttee is completely useless because being a 115% Killer with no power isn't going to end chases quickly.

Oh, come on. You can't say that iri head in its current state is okay. Pairing it with infantry belt has always been an exploit.

I agree it was too powerful, I just wish they made it still decent and useable.

I don't think it's unusable, but I come from an FPS background so I have a pretty high accuracy rate with my hatchets.

Red addons are meant to be strong. Not... meh.
Both her red addons are now... meh.

You can play a reload build and if you are good you need to hook the survivor after one hatchet anyway.

nope, i think the change is good, IRI IB was not healthy. You either learn to be precise or you do it point blank.

If you are good, then you don´t need iri hatchets. Red addons are supposed to make killers stronger. Not weaker.

So an iridescent addon should be a crutch for bad killers?
It would make a good huntress stronger in most cases.

Please try it yourself. Take Huntress and only equip the iri addon without anything else. Search a locker after ever hit or miss.
No one will use this addon once the patch goes live.
Oh and i wouldn´t play survivor in the next weeks. Because every single Huntress will use up their iri hatchets/infatry belts while they can.

I feel like it would've been much better to make it so that the instadown only applies if the person you hit is a certain distance away from you.

I’m happy they did that change because I suggested to keep it the same but make it so you can’t run infantry belts on her and they did it I love the iridescent head change.
As for her new addon, I think it should be basekit I think huntress should move at 115% when out of hatchets at base.

First of all this is exactly how the iri hatchet was meant to be, being able to use it with the belt was an oversight by the devs and they finally fixed it.
Second have you ever had a moment where you’ve just ran out of hatchets so are now completely useless and have to drop chase to reload? Well problem solved, now you are faster and can m1 them.

Iri Head change is what it is. I'm not sure if Soldier's Puttee is worth an add-on. Is there a good reason to, say, not make it base kit?

I don't use Iri Head, in fact, I have over 80 of them because I know they're super broken. I just wanted them to change it so that it's still useful but more balanced.

No it was a chance. Having 1 hatchet and thats it is useless. Anyone who has ever used iri head knows this. The fact that you need 2 addons for it to be worth anything means the huntress cant use any other addons

But the next 3 weeks will be wild. Every Huntress player will want to spend those iri hatchets while they can.

I doubt you´ll be using iri hatchets once it goes live. Sure, for a couple of matches to test them. Then you get looped around a tight loop while being slow and you switch it for something better.

Too difficult for BHVR to code and implement. The easier and lazier option is to simply change the numerical value of how many hatchets she can hold.

Ok so on one hand theyre really doin iri head dirty. On the other hand i like the new one. Ever been in a chase use ur last hatchet and ur so close to the hit but you fail cause ur 4.4? Not anymore. Do you hate how long it takes to go get hatchets when ur empty? Not anymore. You have a way to get to lockers faster and reload faster along with getting hits where it woulda been a hopeless chase. 4.6 move speed is really strong expecially considering the fact that ghostface and trapper can do very well being a mostly 4.6 killer. I like that new addon and i think it could be really usefull. That dosent change the fact they did iri head dirty tho. If u wanna run iri head you gotta run the 4.6 speed one and iron maiden for fast reloads. Only way to make iri head change useable.

How is it difficult to code? Distances from survivors is seen throuought the whole game. Distance dor a lunge to hit, distance the terror radius is heard from, the distance gunslingers shot goes heck even his iri addon requires the game to know how far the survivor was away. How is it difficult to code if its seen throughout the entire game?

I'm not a developer but I'm sure it requires a bit more effort, time and resources to put into place than just changing a numerical value.

Thank the entity the iri head was nerfed. I’ve encountered the iri head/belt combo for too long and just have bad Huntresses a free win. Had one match recently with this pairing where she just tried to slug everyone but was so bad we always managed to pick ourselves back up. She only managed to kill one person using that OP add on combo.
