They went light on it? You have 1 hatchet. Who is going to use a red addon that reduces the amount of hatchets by 4 and ignores other addons that give bonus hatchets?
The other red addon also looks more like something a grey addon would do.
At this point i´m confused if the devs know that red addons are supposed to be good or strong.

I would’ve preferred a Reverse falloff on it kinda like the Deathslinger Insta down add-on but if she only gets one I think it’s fine.

I think iri head promotes bad behavior, as it makes a killer player good without requiring them to put any effort into their gameplay.
I think this new addon isn't going to change it all that much, it'll probably just be used less

By what we've seen from the new/reworked killers, Iri addons are more likely to change their playstyle than improving the original power's lethality.

Just get rid off all one-shot addons. It's just stupid to design a killer without instadown and then giving them a one-shot via add ons.
They will never be balanced correctly.
- old iri hatchets: complete ********
- new iri hatchets: just a desperate try to keep the one-shot in game
- Iri coin: never seen it being used, never used it myself, has anyone used this more than once?
- Pinky finger: insta down without a downside? there is basically no reason not to run this addon as long as you are willing to spend BPs on Clown
- Iri blight tag: no downside but a condition... which is no problem for an experienced blight player most of the time... add infectious and alchemist ring... fun times ahead
what else do we have?
- Honing stone: actually ok in my opinion
- Tombstone piece: insta down is not enough? just go for the insta kill! at least "very rare" is more rare than "ultra rare" in this game :D

1 shot is still 1 shot and she can do it point blank, they just made iri head Huntresses less brain dead. Also how does the new addon reduces her lethality compared to her base kit?

You miss the fact that it's still an old oneshot projectile. I personally never considered it op or broken, but I still liked how it just made hatchets more powerful. New change just removes it's snowballing potential (kinda).
However you also forget the second red which perfectly stacks with new hatchet. You can get a down/miss a shot and become M1 killer with everything it means. It's wonderful.
I really missed good old red addons synergy that made sense stacking them.

No thanks. Ranged throws are exceptionally rare, especially against survivors who don't just stand still.
Not even talking that would just mean you'll get any real benefit from iri heads by distant camping a hooked guy with a hatchet charged.

So you use 2 red addons (18k bloodpoints) to become a m1 killer with a huge terror radius/lullaby that occationally might get a insta down when survivors have no sound.

I'm pretty sure the idea is that IF you run out of hatchets when you nearly have someone downed, simply M1'ing them is more viable. They don't expect you to intentionally go around with no hatchets for the whole match. Still not really Very Rare addon material though. Honestly could probably be base kit.

If you don't use red addons you're just a 4.4 killer who has 5 ranged hits.
Or if you use 2 red addons you're a m1 killer who has a ranged instadown available. Pretty good trade for me.

You can also reach the locker faster. Add iron maiden and you'll restore hatchets quicker than ever.

You are only the m1 killer AFTER you used that instadown. Until then, you are just a 4.4 killer.

In the part that you deliberately didn't include.
She can still carry her 5 hatchets (just like her basekit) but becomes faster after she uses them (unlike her basekit). This is a change that has been proposed incalculable times in these forums.

It is a bit of a gamechanger though?
At the moment if Huntress runs out of hatchets mid chase, she has 2 options and neither is good.
- break chase and reload.
- chase as a 4.4 m1 killer.
This new iri Add On allows Huntress to continue the chase as a 4.6 m1 Killer which matters a whole lot more than you might think. Especially if the Survivors don't realize you have it and get greedy with their looping. Honestly as a Brown/Grey, there'd be almost no reason to not run it.

What, no the old iri heads issue was that you could use infantry belt and completely smoke 3 survivors and down the 4th with M1 (or with Iron Maiden) you could reload and down the 4th too, how in the world does that make it not op?

Ideally they shouldn't be "strong." In fact, i don't think addons in general should be strong, they should change the gameplay of the killer in some way, in this case, it does. It makes huntress faster if shes out of hatchets, meaning she can actually chase when out of hatchets if she wants. Or it makes her 1 hit down but now you only get 1 hatchet ever. When they have addons that "increase speed" this and "decrease cooldown" that. All you do is create addons that a required to run such as:
- Old windstorm wraith
- Rat liver demo
- Cooldown on power ghostface
- Stalk speed myers
- Charge speed pig
All of these addons are effectively required to play these killers and should be made basekit and then adjusted to make their gameplay unique in some way.

Addons should change the playstyle of killers. Ideally like they do on Myers or Hag. Where the different addons have completely different playstyles.

Tsulan's right, the new red Iri is underwhelming I think. I can see where it might be useful in cases where you got somebody wounded and you don't want to stop and reload - but that doesn't warrant an Iri Rating. Green addin tops I'm thinking.
A more reasonable Iri for her I think would be giving her hatchets a Full charge immediately (no need to charge them) but can't use ammo belt addins.
