Dear Killer and Freddy Krueger Mains, how do you feel about Freddy's "Nerf"
I personally think hes in an ok place now, now you wont need to spam your snares like crazy in chase, let me see what you think
NOTE: Im trying to say my personal opinion about Freddy's nerf so please take it with a grain of salt and please dont come up saying "WELL YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED SURVIVOR MAIN NOW STOP COMPLAINING" 😄

The changes are good, but they don't really address the issues with Freddy.

More of a 50/50 player who quit recently, but my god was it needed. Now his snares are alot more tactical. Maybe the 100% movement speed was a bit excessive however, and maybe he could have an extra one. Otherwise, I'm completely fine with it.

Happy with the changes. He still has a lot of passives available to him but a few were adjusted.

100% this nerf was justified, he was the most boring killer in the game to go against and even play, only competition close to him is spirit, nurse, slinger.

screw the regression addons, and the snare/pallet nerf isnt that big of a deal imo.

I personally run fake pallets, and I'm a little disappointed that they also reduced the quantity of fake pallets I get. I don't place fake pallets during chase, so the slowdown doesn't affect me.
I'm glad they got rid of the slowdown add-ons, but I'm not sold on the making sounds louder add ons are going to be good.
Black box blocking the exit gates for 10 seconds for asleep survivors is a pretty poor buff to a pretty poor add-on. Freddy's iri add-ons aren't really that good.
They might have over-buffed waking up from a clock, time will tell on that.
BT changes are meh, however I will miss punishing dangerous unhooks. BT should punish the unhooker if the unhooked person is hit.

Less dream world is a bummer, and you're gonna have to get a bit hag-gy with your puddles. But you can equip thana for ghetto swing chains, and still cause problems teleporting around with ruin/pop/tinkerer and discordance.

I'm trying to give it the benefit of the doubt.
I also wanted a change to fake pallet add-ons to make the rarer versions better than the common add on. The current green and yellow versions add a few seconds of aura reading when a fake pallet is dropped. Pallets are usually dropped in chase, and I'm usually swinging through that pallet to get a hit, aura reading really doesn't do much when you go into a weapon wipe and they're just going to run away with their speed boost, or they went down from the hit.

Meh, they didn't addres how oppresive he truly is with how he teleports around the map or faking it, which allowed to get free hits on survivors.
Also, i don't really understand what they are aiming at. They nerfed both his pretrapping and trapping while in a chase, in my opinion they should aim at one or the other (most likely the pretrapping, so he would still be unique among trap killers)

They're completely unnecessary and don't fix what is wrong with Freddy. The problem with him isn't that he's strong, it's that he's strong and boring.
Freddy's power should have been made more skillful and fun for both sides, not pointlessly nerfed.

Long time Freddy main here, if you allow me to share my opinion:
-Reduced movement speed while placing snares is a good change. It actually brings him somewhat closer to killers such as Trapper and Hag.
-Reduced the maximum number of pallets and snares is a weird change, to be honest. I can see it working for Snares, since it prevents you from literally spamming them during a chase (something that you should never do). But pallets are not that strong, and they do not give you any advantages until the very last second when a survivor drops it. Reducing the number of pallets is overkill.
-Alarm clocks tweaks are pointless, in my opinion. I mean, you don't have time to actually protect them, and it is very possible that you will take longer than 30 seconds to find a survivor that just woke up.
-Add-on changes are extremely bad. Black Box is now a joke, and why on Earth, or Entity's realm, would you use an add-on that makes actions louder? If you want to counter Iron Will, there is Stridor and a generator being repaired is a loud action by itself.
-No option to play as Old Freddy = sadness

As a m1 killer main I can say that Freddy is just getting what he deserves, devs finally did a pretty good job at 4.7.0

Then you play him wrong. Ability to instantly start a chase after hooking someone, ability to instantly stop a gen from being completed, ability to mindgame survivors into giving you hits, ability to appear from nowhere during a chase to score a hit... all in one.
Not to mention that the first statement says that all mindgames aren't in any way good plays by you.

I don't mind them, I just hope they apply their 50/50 win rate ideology for all killers that are below that line and buff them.

No more Dying Light, Thana, Ruin, Undying and Chain Blades :D That ######### was bullshit to try and beat. Then just getting pool spammed until he got you. REALLY FUN to PLAY AGAINST, I can tell ya XD He needed these nerfs.
