^This. Freddy didn't need a nerf to begin with. Also, the killers that did get buffed didn't get what they needed. The only thing that was REALLY good for killer was the OoO nerf.

The OoO nerf wasn't really what they said it was going to be. So now everytime I reveal their aura with for example bbq they get a 6% increase in reparing/Healing etc. ON TOP of 3 secs every 30 secs. I don't think that action buff is needed.

Nope because survivors are generally toxic and players would rather be the toxic ones than the victims.

I will happily play more Demogorgon! I already thought his power, Shred, played well to my chasing schemes, now I get a more usable portal too? Awesome! Not to mention the add-on changes will certainly be interesting to experiment with.

No, most changes were for survivor benefit. Killers are gonna need to work a little harder now

I don't think so. If anything the DS change last update was probably the best thing to happen to killer. The OoO change sounds nice. However the nerfs to Freddy and Huntress feel wrong. They could have done something more practical but instead they just removed play styles or tweaked some numbers. I'm slightly worried about the change to lucky break. You know people will combine that with Iron Will. No grunts of pain, no blood, no scratch marks. On an indoor map that sounds pretty bad. It's almost like the devs are apologizing to survivors for finally fixing their most broken perk in the game(DS) by giving them something that would absolutely counter spirit. I also don't like the idea of a totem counter. From a solo stand point it's great but from a killer stand point it's terrible. Hex perks are already very rng. Only 2 are actually high risk high reward. The rest are just high risk.

Why would this update make people want to play killer more?
This update will reduce the people wanting to play killer even more...
It's overall a ton of killer nerfs and the few killer "buffs" are near irrelevant changes.

Mnhh, I might play more demo again; depending on the changes....but from what I've seen so far it isn't what he really needed.
They nerfed Freddy, I never played him too awfully much anyways though tbh.
The biggest thing, will depend on the coldwind rework. That could be the biggest killer buff or nerf in the update depending on.

I will try the new changes for demo as soon as he drops. More map pressure is more than welcome.

Maybe, he'll need a bit more before you see him as much as even other low tier killers. They especially need to fix his carry speed bug.

Honestly with how many nerfs killers got, while I think some were deserved, aren’t going to draw people to play killer. “Oh did you hear the nerfed all these killers! Wanna play them!?” No. What’s worse is Lucky Break, which is almost gamebreaking in my mind. Survivors get a speed boost when hit, and with the perk they can easily lose the killer. Not only that it allows the perk to be active for 90 seconds. That’s a heck of a lot of time in the game. You can easily complete gens or get healed before the Killer finds you again, if they even can. I’m betting this will be used in SWF builds and make SWF even more unbearable.

No because a major issue with playing killer is matchmaking/gen speeds and a lot of killers that are listed as “easy” struggle in this game and have to resort to bad tactics to compete.

The only things I wanted to happen to Freddy is more one more active clock on the map so I wouldn't have to run across the world to wake up and for survivors to not automatically fall asleep until after they get hit once.

I'm a demo main, I'll just say i'd be deeply saddened if rat liver is removed in the rework, and everyone agrees it should have been put in basekit.
The problem with demo is that pretty much 90% of his addons focused on his portals instead of his chase power, and from that 10% its literally just the miss cooldown which forgives new bad players, the only one that actually allowed for fun unoppressive chases with high rank survivors was the rat liver, I pray to god it remains a thing or the devs consider implementing it base-kit.

Only trickster is getting a straight buff,
Given the developer's history with "add-on reworks" demo/huntress are most likely getting their base kits gutted.
Keep in mind the developers have lied repeatedly about not gutting base kit in most(If not all) of their previous "Add-on reworks".
Meanwhile all 3 twins players are probably going to be dropping them after this patch given victor's 5 second self stun on successful hits.
Hexes got a weaker because of a much stronger small game.
freddy nerf where the main thing I question is the dream pallet nerf. I mean its already worse then snare why nerf it?

I mean I'm going to try all the changed killers, but I'm not suddenly going to become a killer main. It'll likely temporarily boost killer levels then they'll go bavk to normal
