Anyone else think Iri Head will still be super strong?
As someone who is usually more biased for killer in this game, I still think more could've been done with Iri Head.
Sure, it's nice that there is now a limit of one, but if i'm gonna use Iri Head i'm probably just going to chuck on Iron Maiden or reload add-ons so I don't spend anywhere near as much time at lockers.
I feel like making it insta-down past a certain distance and only limiting it to one would make it so much more rewarding.

It's not going to change much except for making slugging less likely. They're still going to just run up close to you and insta-down you and camp your hook and instadown your savior.

No, IMO. The thing that pushed Irihead way over the top was the ability to mitigate its downside something fierce with add-ons that grant extra hatchets.

Iri head not busted but still pretty strong. However for an ultra rare addon that fine.

it was great with infantry belt

It needed a nerf but this was way too much. IMO they already had the right idea with Deathslinger's Iri. Coin addon, just give an appropriate version to Huntress.
Hatchets that hit Survivors that are +24m away will put Survivors in the dying state. Rewards skillful shots, allows you to carry more Hatchets w/o being oppressive and encourages going for the Skilled Huntress achievement.

It reminds me of an old line.
Turn the page. Wash your hands.
20 pts to whoever gets that reference.

It doesn't math out well. You get 1 hatchet that can insta-down. If you miss, you have to go reload. If you don't, great you got an insta-down but now you still have to reload.
Instead, i could get increased hatchet addons, and down all 4 survivors in a single reload if my aim is good. Much better and more efficient.

If it was strong by itself then why do people only use it with the infantry belt.
It because it weak by itself and would need a build to use it and need to hit it most of the time.
This change is bad like the new iri add-on huntress got.
If they added the distance requirement instead would be a good change and maybe remove/decrease the downside

Filburt!

It's still going to be an instadown-on-demand, which is never bad. All it does is prevent you from doing it three times in a row. It's still strong, just diluted.

New Iri means you can only down 1 survivor before having to go to a locker to reload. Without it you can down at least 2 survivors before having to reload.

People able to consistently make use of iri heads single hatchet are more of a threat with 5 normal hatchets, in my opinion. When bad players will use it, it won't benefit them much, if at all; it's just gonna be annoying.

Lol no, just no.
I'll put it this way. Not only is it not good, but it is worse than using no addons...
It literally hurts you more than it helps.

I mean it's an instant down...checking a locker for an extra hatchet is still faster than getting a health state out of someone generally.
People are still going to go the no skill route and just glue themselves to you so they can't miss and use it in place of an M1.
It's still going to be incredibly strong, but it shouldn't be a game ruiner at least.

No, iri head on its own is trash. It's worse than addon-less now. All it needed was a range requirement: 20+ meters and you insta-downed someone to reward people who are actually good at Huntress. Iri head with 1 hatchet removes the one thing Huntress is good at which is snowballing with her power.
If you run iri head you're now Billy with tuned carburretor but everytime you miss a backrev you have to go and open a locker. It's so awful.

It's absolute trash.
You are essentially trading 5 chances of removing 1 health state each for 1 chance of removing up to two health states.

It's exactly the nerf I expected.

that coin addon for deathslinger sucks and needs a buff

its worse than no perks its really just a huge disadvantage for huntress, gets rid of all her snowball potential.

You come in to my house, and challenge me?
I was watching Rocco's Modern Life when I was 5 years old. I rewatched it recently, and I'm confused my parents ever let me watch it lol

I would have LOVED ricochet hatchets as an Iri instead XD

Of course - insta-downs are incredibly powerful in this game. I do like that they were finally adjusted, but I wish they took away the insta-down component of the add-on and replaced it with something else engaging. I will admit that just limiting the Iridescent Head to one hatchet was kind of disappointing compared to other things that they could have done.

Still has the issue where it drastically lowers the skill floor and enables inept gameplay. To me the item is still unhealthy if it enables killers to just walk up to someone and get within melee range to use a hatchet. That shouldn't be what the killer is about it should be about skillful gameplay.
I'd be more fine if it was permanently stuck at 3 hatchets but required a range to down someone. 20 meters minimum for example.

Its actually quite bad now.

It's still going to be busted but atleast it'll be slightly harder to win within the first 10 seconds of the match.

Iridecent coin was has and always will be a failure:
The coin is a situational,Hard to use, and map dependent add-on that only has an effect if hit hits a healthy survivor.
Unless you're saying it should be a instant kills(Aka ranged MORI) then please stop suggesting turning iri head into iri coin.

ikr, kids these days are missing out.

Yes. This, Iri coin is almost impossible to use on a lot of maps and it would be even harder if it was 20+ meters. Imagine if you got gideon, hawkins, or any congested map, This addon would be ######### USELESS.
1 -
'Map Dependent/Situational' they're ranged killers, they're map dependent regardless of addons. It rewards being skilled with the power meaning high level players will benefit from the effect more than lower level players, overall a more balanced game for all ranks. The only problem w/ Iri Coin is the small window of 3m between its min. range and Slinger's max range.
But yeah, ranged moris are a great idea, completely balanced 👍️

To the contray i think they overnerf it. You miss you have to go to a locker... and Its not very hard to dodge the first hatchet as a survivor.

I'm generally amazed it took this long for them to effectively delete Iri Heads.

Iri Coin isn't actually hard to connect - The issue with that addon is reeling a survivor in with no obstacles in between you and them that will break the reel. I can actually pretty consistently get max range as Deathslinger I just can never reel them in fully. With Huntress there is plenty of opportunity to get a max range hatchet because damage is instant.
