opening hatches in front of the killer should be punishable
I just fought a swf that brought a key, whenever their friend died (with a lot of effort of mine put in that match) they just went in front of me, rescued their key team mate with Borrowed Time and opened the hatch in front of me and escaped. But If there was a longer animation of opening the hatch with the key, and the killer could be able to grab the survivor opening the hatch, this would be more balanced, since the killer should be someone who the survivors fear and not someone who is just standing still and wont hurt survivors, if you try to stop someone to open the hatch you just cannot. I am not complaining that survivors couldnt get a 3 man escape, just that they shouldnt do this in front of the killer, if so, make it punishable/strategic. If the 3 man is far away from the killer, could be also possible to use the key

Fyi you can stand on the lock to block the key use. Also if you know they will make the key escape spam the close hatch button instead of hitting the survivor. This will prevent anyone else from using the hatch if they are right next to it.

Yes, it is very frustrating. But you'll be happy to know they've been working on a change to keys. Since they've been working on it for 1/2 a year, that definately means they are adding an unlock animation to keys, and hopefully more changes. Its just unfortunate that they nerfed mori's into the ground so long before keys

I miss hatch grabs. "the hatch stand" its no more than an excuse now because killers are able to close the hatch.
Such a nerf to guarantee survivors a free escape. At least in the past they had to work a bit for it. Now its open the hatch and instantly go.

I did exactly this, but 2 left and the last one stayed and I left him in the ground, it is impossible to hit the guy with the key without him opening the hatch. This is my proposal, the guy opening the hatch should be punishable

Here my proposal:run Franklin if you're complaining about the hatch. Dcing for the hatch to open should be the only thing that need to change.

If they add time to get a hatch to open with a key then its only fair that it also take the killer longer to close it. He should have to physically lean down to do it like the trapper setting traps. There’s no reason why they should take it from advantage survivor to advantage killer other than to satisfy salty killers.

So... If I'm running away from you with a key, and I see hatch and go and get it to escape, I should just be punished for that since you were behind me? Hell no.
If we use your logic, then survivors should just respawn if the killer is looking at them when they die on hook. It's stupid.
