Is this a bannable offense?
So, today I was trying to get Adept Spirit. I entered the match and then 4 offerings popped: 3 Murky Reagents and one map offering to the swamp. On the first three minutes of the game, nobody even touched a generator and I was starting to suspect that something was going on. After 6 minutes, I found all of them crouching in a corner of the map. From this moment, the whole game was about them playing immersed and not doing anything. In 20 minutes, after I finally killed a Claudette, a Nea and an Ace, the final Claudette got the hatch. On end game screen, what a surprise: 4 Calm Spirit, 4 Iron Will, 4 Urban Evasion and 4 Diversion. I got a Brutal Killer and with this my add-ons were gone and I need to try to do the adept again.
It got me wondering how some survivors manage to be more scummy than most of the killers in the cast.
My question is: Is that a bannable offense? I mean, playing immersed and not doing any gens?
Edit: I got 3 of them reported. I couldn't report the last Claudette because I was disconnected from the lobby before I could do it. I didn't took a screenshot for the same reason above.

I am not 100% sure but I am like 90% sure it is something they can get in trouble for. It was holding the game hostage though proving that might be harder than you think. It is at the very least something that is valid to report so you should take advantage of that feature.

Holding the game hostage, bannable offense.

get better af finding them I say. It's on you to find them, and on them to do the gens. If they don't want to do their objective, you have all the time in the world to catch them.
I personally don't think it should be bannable, but it's not my call

Definitely rotten to do but not ban able unfortunately.

Sounds like a meme hide and go seek squad

Fine, but give killer an option to end a match without giving up all of their BP and double depipping.

No. In order to be a ban-worthy offense, like holding the game hostage, they need to not only not do anything themselves, but go out of their way to prevent you from doing anything. EG, there used to be some spots on certain maps that the killer could not reach, but survivors could. That took away the killer's ability to win at all, regardless of skill, and was considered ban-worthy.
But surely, it may seem, there must be justice. And surely, there is. It's called NOED Freddy.
Bon appetit.

I'm pretty sure it is, they are holding the game hostage. If you play mega immersed and never do your objective, the game can't end.
It should be bannable; and therefore it is. I faced immersed squads before, even with whispers it is almost impossible to find someone. And as they never do gens, I am stuck in the game looking for the needle in the haystack.

I remember I had one of those, and I was playing blight with compound 21, and they said some gamer words to me actually a lot of them at the end of the game

It saddens me how many of you shrink at anything slightly resembling a challenge.
I've spent almost an hour finding some groups. I always come out on top. Never mad - I enjoy the fact they give me all the time in the world to find them.
To be completely fair, Bloodpoints are secondary to me. I just enjoy watching all these dumbass players get punished and die. And if they want to give me more time to do it, that's just fine with me.

Some people vue their time. Who the hell wants to spend an hour in one game looking in lockers and #########?

Yes, that is considered after a certain period of time of total inactivity to be holding a game hostage; it is a reportable offense. You need to record evidence and open a ticket, and a in game report is mandatory as well.
This comes up often; and it's been stated many timed by staff that this is the case.
You can open a ticket with required information here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I don't shrink at a challange, I shrink at walking around a map 30 minutes without doing a thing. It is unfun and boring.

It depends now if it was only for 3 minutes or if you're saying they have ended up hiding for 20 minutes - if it's the latter, that can be possibly bannable for holding the game hostage. If you were chasing some of them during that time though, that would be probably be a different topic. As context seems to be a bit lacking of how long they hid, but I'm assuming it was for longer than 3 minutes, than yes, that could be considered holding the game hostage.
If it was 3 minutes, then no. For more information read the game rules: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
