When are grabs going to be fixed?

Am I the only person wondering when grabs will be fixed? I know that hits are calculated based on killer but when it comes to grabs I've been mid grab animation and had survivors just get up and run away, simply by letting go, locking me into an empty animation and robbed of both grab and a hit. It's to the point that I specifically try avoiding grabs because of how busted they are. What is worse, survivors know that grabs are busted and frequently abuse this issue by tapping an action to bait a killer into either a broken grab or a quick swing, especially at end game hooks. So I'm just wondering if this issue will get fixed or plans to be fixed any time soon?

I didn't put this in bug reports because, by now, it is a well known and reported issue. my question is if there are any plans on fixing the issue in the works.
