I mean its not base. Killers don't have their own hatch basically where even though they lost they get a chance to at least secure a kill. Say a killer could do that? Would it be any different from hatch? "Killers shouldnt always want 4ks" yeah and survivors shouldn't always want 4 escapes.

Yea a perk that can kill only 1 survivor if you manage to pass his DH and BT. Nice of you pointing out here how different the devs treat killer and survivor perks. Rancor its not even close to the power a DS and BT have in endgame.

Best solution, just use blood warden with 1/4 of the egc bar remaining, they can ds you all they want from then on but its over for them

But he's someone who plays for a living. So if someone who plays 6 hours every day, gets constantly gen rushed, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the balancing.

I mean, you can easily bypass Dead Hard and Borrowed Time with Rancor, considering that you one shot them, and you don't even have to hook them. And besides, DS and BT only save one survivor as well. Go after the unhooker instead.

If you were close enough to the survivor for them to barely get away at the exit gate, you definitely had enough time to kill the one who was going for the unhook, as you dont suffer as much of a slowdown when injuring with the blades, then you close in with the basic attack kill or keep using daggers if you're afraid of DH

Of course you shouldn't be able to do anything.
If they get unhooked and you down them quickly again, you shouldn't just be able to pick them up again without any consequence, that's not fair for the survivor.
It's just unfortunate you can't slug when the exit gates are open.
And this is coming from a killer main.

"You can easily bypass dead hard" Thats not true, most of the times you can't unless the survivor is dumb enough to trigger it in the open. Also DH for distance, to reach a pallet or window can't be deal with unless you are a huntress.
BT cushion exposed status effect so you have to hit the survivor again, making rancor useless if the obsession is the one being unhooked. And you are wrong when you are saying that DS and BT saves only one survivor.. if every survivor run this perks wich is almost every match its 4 "get out of jail" cards not 1.
A btw going for the unhooker its not at option either since the survivor will BT and every other survivor left will tank all the hits and reach exit gates. And there nothing you can do about that. BT and DS in endgame are broken and are unfair just like keys, lets be honest.

I understand how you feel, I've had this happen to me when I wasn't even tunneling the person (old DS, bleh). You have to accept it and move on though. They brought a perk to help them. You didn't bring Bloodwarden or NOED or even No Way Out. Obviously the person who brought a perk to possibly help them in endgame will escape that situation.

Honestly, as a killer main, I would have rather had DS disabled in exit gates than anything that they changed withe the recent Nerf.

My guy, they can't Dead Hard if they're healthy. Also, if you're running Rancor, you're not going to be hooking the obsession at the endgame.
DS isn't a get out of jail free card anymore, you have to be actively tunneling for it to activate now. You shouldn't be able to down someone off of the hook instantly and pick them up without consequence.
Survivors taking protection hits isn't unfair either, you already lost the game, they're just trying to make sure everyone gets out alive.
BT and DS are fine in the endgame, tunneling is still tunneling, regardless if it's at 5 gens or when the exit gates are powered.

After being BHVR'd by the Twins, everyone's really gotta reconsider buying these new killers day 1 with no info.
And i'm not saying people can't buy what they wanna buy, i'm questioning if it's a good choice.
'Cause buying something with no info only to realize it's bad but wanting to get your money's worth ain't a fun spot to be in.

- Its a 4v1 game the odds of the 1 defeating all 4 players consistently should be very low or the game is unbalanced in the first place. Almost nobody runs DS anymore anyway. If this game allowed killers to consistently 4K just for playing well the player base would be dead. Same goes for survivors, there are plenty of games I play perfect and totally outclass the killer but I die on first hook after some salty little boy decides to stand in front of the hook all game. I play mostly solo survivor, what’s the counter to that? You are NOT entitled to a win for outplaying the other side, no side in this game is.
- If someone has DS at exit gate remaining 9/10 times it’s some killer who couldn’t get a single kill and is now tunnelling the ######### out of the guy who got unhooked at end game for 1 kill. News flash, the DS isn’t why you lost the game.
- Whats the counter to insta mory myers? What was the counter to mory off first hook? What’s the counter to Freddie’s lunge hitting you when his claws are 2 ft away from your body? Nothing, no game can have a perfect counter for everything.

So don’t let them have that late in the game. If you have the opportunity to down someone fresh off hook earlier in the game, do it and eat the DS stun to get rid of it. Then let them run off, and then go pressure elsewhere.

You can't Mori off first hook anymore it requires 2 hooks now. They were nerfed again ages again which is why Keys are getting axed next.

Rest of your point is fair. Way I see it, you should be removing people form the game before the gates are powered anyway. And you have options to go after the unhooker. The power of DS is an edge case in a game where 2/3rds of the playerbase plays like potatoes that most of us can walk all over without any issue... so I don't know why people are bringing up these edge cases.

I´ve seen similar problems with other streamers, playing other killers.
But whenever i say something is wrong, when survivors complete 60% of their objecive, while the killer just got 8% finished, then people just try to blame anything but the horrible balance this game has.

The survivor lost a perk slot for DS in the off chance they get tunneled either during or at end game. It is frustrating but tbf when it's been used against me at exit gate i've usually had a rough game or played pretty crap as killer anyway!
If they bought the DS they deserve to use it if the get a chance, especially since it's very limited in usefulness. I'd say keeping it till exit gate is literally it's only major clutch anymore 🤣

Maybe you should have gone after the unhooker tbh instead of tunneling the person who got unhooked. Why do you feel humiliation when you're playing a video game with people who don't know you and you're probably gonna see them again? "This cannot be allowed to continue" neither should camping multiple hooks in close proximity with 4 gens left but it's still gonna happen. I have 4k hours in the game and play both sides, it's okay to admit you lost a round.

Yeah its very much not nerfed into the ground. That's a bit dramatic honestly. It's not as good but it's much more reasonable. If you were upset by the nerf than you clearly wanted to benefit from how insane of a second chance perk it was since there was no counter for killers with it (besides slugging for a minute but that screws over killers since gens will get done).
I don't necessarily think it needs an additional nerf...I mean maybe down the road but i think it's fine where it is for now. I did like the old juggle strategy myself but that isn't a thing anymore.
It's still easily a top 10 perk and very likely top 5. Nerfed into the ground would imply it's not viable anymore (like old freddy had happen long ago)

As someone else who bought him day 1, it was pretty widely accepted he was garbage before release with the ptb. It was pretty well communicated and agreed upon honestly. Maybe next time look into ptb review before buying. I think he will get stronger down the road though and I hope he does. He does seem interesting

Id much rather have BT get nerfed. Now its essentially a must have perk with the ptb changes. 12 seconds of invincibility (with a dash after hit) is a lot and even if you hook far away survivors should have plenty of time to get away and this doesn't include body blocking friends who will give you even more time.
Personally I think BT should needs a major overhaul in a few ways
1. Survivors at base get BT effect for 3 seconds to discourage tunneling and works without a perk
2. BT current effect is decreased to 10 seconds cap and only active at EGC.
3. Separate new perk that allows 7 extra seconds (so 10 total) prior to EGC.
Right now BT has way to much utility that it being a nearly must have perk indicates it needs changes (similar to how DS was). Having one perk with this much power, active the entire game, and has no killer counterplay (not everything needs a counter but this should have something)
Not sure if this is a thing or not but I'd like a ptb to try out instant downs as canceling BT. Not saying it should go live but I'd like to see how it goes.

I've had this scenario happen maybe once or twice since starting this game a year ago. if this happens you lost already just let it go, one kill is still a losing. Secondly if this is happening to you enough to make you post about it you have bigger problems.
