In fact looking at the trailer I notice a survivor on the hook, and he soesn't seem to look like Chris Redfield, or Leon

Since they probably want to get as much out of this chapter as possible, I think the two candidates are still Nemesis and Mr. X. If I was giving a pick though, I’d personally go for Nemesis because I just feel like you could do much more with him then you could Mr. X.

I am so ######### pumped for this chapter.
The thing is what map will it be? Aside from bioweapons and enemies in the Resident Evil Franchise the maps are JUST as iconic.
Honest speculation is Mr. X or Nemesis on the killer - The thing is what map? This chapter needs to have a map it will be such a missed opportunity if there is no map. Raccoon City Police Department? Raccoon City? Spencer Mansion?
The survivor could be anyone to be honest but I'd be content with Leon or Jill. Hell even Barry would be awesome.

Well I want them to focus both the old and new, I never played any of the other Re games except 7 and I feel they should incorporate aspects for both fans of the modern works ( minus the remakes) but also the old

Jack Baker or Mr. X would probably be the easiest to slot into DBD but I could see them getting really creative with a power for Nemesis.

Although it sounded like Felix, it didn't look like him to me. Instead it looked like a guy in a lab coat.
My theory right now is that the trailer didn't showcase anything about the killer or survivor, just that the chapter is Resident Evil themed.

Jill as survivor and Nemesis as killer would make sense since they're the most iconic without a doubt.
..but BHVR did say they tried to take a little bit of inspiration from each Silent Hill game with the SH chapter so we might get a mix as well with the RE chapter.

The Killer will be Chris Redfield. He will just get bigger and bigger as the trial progressing, until he is a literal mountain that towers over the map. He then leans in and eats all the Survivors before working on his gains.

Probably not Mr X or Nemesis, because while iconic they... don't have a power that really fits DbD. It will likely rather be someone who has more than 'withstanding bulletts and breaking through walls' (because... technically that is ALL killers in the entity's realm)

Its gotta be Nemesis or its not a true representation of Resident Evil. Nemesis and Mr X are by far the most iconic villains in RE. And both are interchangable with just....a skin since Nemesis, Mr X and Berkin are all just Tyrant projects. Anybody else would just be.....weird.
So the new killer will likely be called
"THE TYRANT"
And have skins of Mr X, Berkin, and Nemesis. <----Since they are all Tyrant class mutations.

I want to see either Nemesis or Mr. X. I think Both would be insanely terrifying to play against. They both could have changing forms like the games. Gosh now I wish they would do both of them because its a hard pick. Wesker would be a great pick too but he's not as scary as them.

A big part of resident evil monsters is that they change and grow more powerful as they're damaged.

I'd like to see Nemesis. I would also be ok with the 8 ft tall lady because I'd imagine she'd be pretty easy to see coming toward me.

The killer is probably going to be Mr.X, Nemesis or Dimitrescu. And despite my personal preference towards Dimitrescu, I am fine with either one of them.
