Seriously don't do this.
hasn't even been two weeks since trickster and they about to announce a new killer.
stop adding new killers that will take you forever to balance and just focus on your current roster of killers that are weak and need balancing right now like trickster

I really feel RE does not fit into dbd. The trickster chapter must have REALLY sucked if they are teasing it so soon after release.

or i prefer hype, incredibly licenses that make the game more entertaining.
the midchapters are the time for balancing, they just don't utilise them ever. and probably need more. i hope year 5 brings 3 yearly chapters and more midchapters.
but no, keep adding chapters so the game doesnt get stale, especially since the last chapter i got anything from was Silent Hill. 9 months ago.

For all you know the licensed killer will just be too weak and cannot live up to its expectations

They need to reduce their 4 chapters a year to a maximum of 2 tbh. 4 killers and survivors a year is just WAY too much. Killer abilities get repetitive and bad at the current rate (Twins, Trickster).

You underestimate just how big RE is. It changed horror in gaming. It is the most popular horror game franchise out there. Silent Hill wouldn't exist if RE didn't.

I mean, RE's pretty cool. Most of us will be grateful. I don't care what you say, but Silent Hill, Stranger Things, Halloween, some kpop idol, SAW, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Left 4 Dead, #########' Ash Williams and Resident Evil all in the same game would be ######### awesome.

In RE you can fight what's chasing you. You can even explain every monster in RE as genetics gone wrong. At least in Silent Hill their monsters tend to be supernatural. The more I understand it, the less terrifying it is.

Like, it was clear that they'd do something big in terms of new killer/surv for the 5th anniversary AND the 20th chapter.
But I hope afterwards the chapters will be all-character (original at least) cosmetic packs and perks while they concentrate on gamehealth etc

I agree that current killers still need tweaks, but adding new killers is the only way to add variety in this game.
New killers + addressing older ones gives us all better matches.

Dude, if you genuinely believe that Phead is an F-tier killer, you are objectively wrong. At worst he's a low A-tier killer, I've been playing him for a while and he's still an incredibly strong killer. And how is GF back to his ptb version? If I'm not wrong they haven't nerfed or changed him since his release, and the Demogorgon changes are objective buffs, and before you say something about rat liver watch Scott Junds video on how the nerf to it doesn't mean jack.
