it's almost been 5 years since this game is out.

and i know it isn't quite balanced and we have a lot of bugs, but i seriously think we need a new gamemode and as a killer main, i hope they let us have a chance to kill survivors with a friend.

pls read this behavior :(

P.S i remember about a Q&A where they said they couldn't do it, but it's still not too late.

I dont think that a 2 Killer-Mode would work. (or most likely 2v8, at least this is the most common thing I read, so I will referr to this mode)

First of all, it would be a hell to balance this. Lore-wise, two times the same Killer would be strange. But you also need to avoid things like Spirit to catch people combined with Bubba to camp those to death, while still being able to apply pressure.

Then, who would play that? Obviously Killers with their friends. But do you think that any Solo Survivor would play this mode? In regular games you already have to worry about 3 people, who wants to play with 7 randoms? I can assure you, I would get a heart attack if I am on the hook and see more than 5 people urban evading around the Map.

So most likely only SWFs (either full 8 or 2 4 mans) would play this mode. And we all know how Killers love to go against SWFs. So I am pretty sure that soon after implementation, nearly nobody except for some Killers and huge SWFs would play this mode. If even those groups are playing it.

Other than what @Aven_Fallen already said, just imagine how much work it will take under the code pov just to avoid even major bugs

How will the game handle two killers using the same perks for example? If they're being the using DL, and one hooks a survivor, do they both get a token? And do tokens stack?

What about hex perks, if both killers are going for a full hex build? This implies they need to handle totem spawns. Then what about gens and hooks? And maps? Do more gens and hooks simply spawn on the same map, or do u imply them "merging" two maps together?

    It's really not that simple

There is a game that comes in my mind. Depth, probably no one here knows that game, its unknown as hell xD but it is a 2v4 a symmetrical game and it is proably way better balanced then dbd will ever be. It is definatly possible to come up with something balanced or atleast close to that.

If I remember correctly, they didn’t say they couldn’t do it, they said that they wouldn’t do it. There’s a difference. They simply don’t want to. It’d be too much effort to make and then try to balance so they would rather just not bother. Hugely disappointing but I guess this is just how it is. I would jump with joy if they announced a multiple killer mode but unless they’ve had a change of heart, I don’t see a new mode coming any time soon.

yup, i played it actually recently and its pretty fun and well made now but sadly its kinda dead, there are not that much players anymore around. But I doubt that its because of the game itsself, its just unknown.

Because they’re the minority compared to survivors?

The title should should really be I and others want a 2 killer mode. It's not needed per say.

I think it'd be a lot of fun. If there were 8 to 10 survivors running around you couldn't afford to waste any time camping or tunneling. Even with two killers.

guys i mean, if they made a 2 killer mode in Identity V, why not here? it looks like Behavior just doesn't want to put much effort on this, otherwise it could've been real.

I always liked putting 2 assassins and 8 survivors, it will be a better game than it already is

Banking would be terrible. Killers would dunk on survivors and it would be slugfest galore. Some killers would never be used as well. Id guarantee almost every game will have a spirit. I dont see it fun at all as survivors

i think there might be some restrictions, like forbidding to use 2 same killers. (an example)

All I ask is simply add more than 5 gens needed for gates. Considering there is 4 survivors for 4 gens, and the percentage of new parts is higher than likely anymore. Even though the majority of survivors wont admit it. The game is over than waiting 30 minutes for one to start in a lobby. I personally save up on 50 Anni-Cakes across many killers. And they're going to waste as Survivors just hide and do gens. It's getting boring as hell anymore. What's the point in chasing when you're blamed for tunneling.

Add more things to have be done before gates are opened. And we just sit in lobby for most of it before another quick trial. Repeat.

But then again. Noone will agree to this.

Two Killers in one game shouldn't be a 2V4 or 2V8, it should be a 1V1V6. Killers would be incapable of killing one another, but if they are brought together (say within 6 meters) then they will perform a "Struggle" against one another. The Killer that bashes the button more or completes the most skill checks in a time frame will get to walk away with a slight speed boost, while the other is stunned for 6/7/8 seconds. Survivors (being at a 2 man disadvantage) can use this time to work on gens, which should have a decreased repair time by roughly 25%, but also require one additional generator be complete. So, 6 total rather than 5. With this, an additional hatch should be implemented. This will allow each Killer to attempt sealing one and prevent the Exit Doors from being opened immediately. Hatches should open when there are only 2 survivors remaining in this mode, rather than 1 survivor like standard matches. This will permit Survivors to still attempt bringing the Killers together for some time to get away, but also bring them to the same tension level as a lone survivor. The game would no longer be to stop the survivors from escaping, but instead, stop the other killer from getting the most sacrifices. Oh, and on a final note, there should only be one Exit Door. The reasoning behind this is that it will force all Survivors to travel to the same place, inevitably forcing the Killers to get creative on how they're going to approach the area without accidentally interacting with the second Killer. This will be the funnel of the match, where the Killers are no longer working against one another. Instead, it'll be a "you first, then me" mentality, so that both walk away from the door with a Survivor on their shoulder, and maybe a couple on the ground. To prevent major toxicity, Killers would be able to see one another's Red Stains, giving them the ability to avoid Survivors that are trying to force them together. When the Killers are not in view of one another, they would be able to see one another's auras. Only Perks that prevent Killers from reading auras would be able to cancel out this dynamic of it. On a final, final note, Killer Perks will act just as Survivor Perks do. Meaning they remain individual and do not stack when it comes to tokens and similar mechanics.

    -1V1V6

    -Killer Struggles for Killer interactions

-6 generators are needed for the Exit Gate to open

    -Generators are completed 25% faster

-2 hatches, one for each Killer

-Hatches open when 2 Survivors remain

-One Exit Gate for Killer Tension (turns the tables)

-Killers can see one another's auras and Red Stains (auras are affected by Survivor perks that can disable aura reading)

-It's a battle between the Killers to kill more than the other

-Killer Perks react the same way Survivor Perks normally would. (One Killers Tokens do not apply to the second Killer.)

Let's make adjustments to the concept here
