What about Alice from the film series? I don't think I've seen this concept mentioned, everyone is talking about characters from the games but what's the chances of it being from the films instead?

I hope so, the re universe have so many characters that it would be really greedy from behaviour to just release 1 survivor and make everyone else legendaries. Fair thing would be 2 survivors and they could make for the first time two killers too, but that would be too much extra work from them.

Though in all seriousness tho, I hope we get another Stranger Things situation. Claire and Chris as survivors, so we can get Jill, Chris, Ada etc legendary skins. Then with Mr. X and he can have a Nemesis skin.

My hope is for Leon but I suspect Claire or Jill along with Tyrant or Nemesis. Also, as for maps a part of Raccoon City would be cool or even the mansion.

I'm more invested in the killers so I don't mind who they add for survivors.
As for killer I got to represent my boy Nemesis although Mr X seems like an easier pick given the powers.
I would love to see lady D but she's just too big.

I also wonder if they would release special skins on characters (similar to what they did with silent hill) to technically include more characters.

So these are my guesses. I'm expecting they'll add 2 survivors and I'm assuming it's gonna be Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, cause they are the most notable ones. Chris, Clair and Ada will probabbly be added as legendary skins. I'm thinking Nemesis will be added as the new killer called the "The Tyrant". I can see most boss enemies as legendary skins. They all fit so well. Pick whoever you'd like. Tyrant, Mr. X, William Birkin, Nemesis, Osmund Saddler, Alcina Dimitrescu.... And the map is either going to be the Mansion from RE1 or the Raccoon city police department from RE2/RE3. Even though I think it would be a cool shocker if they were doing like 5 maps revolving around Raccon city as the realm (first city map in DBD) and the maps would be a combo of inside/outside like Raccoon city Police Department, Raccoon city Streets, Raccoon city Hospital, Raccoon city Outskirts and Raccoon city Clock Tower. Cause when somebody tells me "Resident evil characters" this images pop in my mind:

I'd really rather them either go Classic Tyrant with Chris or Jill or promote the new game with a killer from it and "new" Chris. Seeing Ethan in third person would be strange.

The main protagonists of RE games would feel really out of place in DBD running around unarmed, when they are best known for shooting tons and tons of virus mutated freakazoids.
I guess they could pick Sheva from RE5. That would explain why she never came back. RE4 Ashley and Moira from Rev2 would also make a lot of sense as a survivors.
For killers, the RE2 Tyrant seem like the most obvious and easiest to translate into DBD's simple gameplay as he is pretty much just a big bulletproof guy who can punch through walls. Give him some kind of shoulder charge, a gimmicky tracking mechanic and its done. (Also where the hell does the nickname "Mr. X" come from ? He is never called that in RE2 original or remake.)
That or it could be one of the sharks from RE1.

Chris is probably the least believable main protagonist imo. He would be the most likely to try to go toe to toe imo

Leon would be a good choice for survivor. He is the classic and they did announce RE4 for VR.
I personally think it's hard to imagine Nemesis or any of these big mutants. Can you imagine pallet stunning Nemesis and he groans in pain. I mean yes I get they're weaker, but most of the corporeal killers feel some pain in the movies or lore (Trapper, Bubba, Ghostface, Freddy).
I am actually hoping for horde of zombies that are autonomous led by a Licker as the main. Licker is essentially a fast M1 killer but zombie hoardes are drawn to you and can hold you for a certain time. Licker gets notified. The mechanics are there already (crushing Victor for the hold mechanic, killer instinct for notification). Im also okay with just a hoarde of zombies that increase over time (start off with 6 zombies; 5 auto + 1 live and then every 30s a new zombie joins) this could even work similar to Hag traps/Demo portals in regards to switching.
I'm hoping for Raccoon City for a map though.

Sounded like Molded in the trailer so potentially Jack Baker. It could've also been Lickers or some weird sounding zombies as well which open up the possibility for other Killers. Nemesis is easily the most iconic followed by Mr. X.
I think it's more likely to be Mr. X than Nemesis both based on size (Nemesis would be the tallest by far, standing at an impressive 8.8 feet tall, putting him at a foot taller the current tallest character Demo/Pyramid Head when standing upright) and because I think we could be seeing a double Survivor chapter again (Leon and Claire) like the Stranger Things chapter with Legendaries to have the ability swap out between the iconic 4 main characters. (Leon - Chris, Jill - Claire)

I think Lady D could be a skin for Plague but I don't think she be a Killer, primarily because of the dress offering no realistic mobility other than walking.

I don't see them having her in at least for now. I don't see much of anything coming in from re8 since it would likely spoil the game for a lot of people who didn't get the game yet and I don't see capcom lending out assets that haven't been released yet. Id be pretty shocked if re8 gets anything in beyond maybe Chris or ethan

Was RE:resistance a trial run for the dead by daylight DLC? Support ends for resistance, so they give BHVR the go ahead. If true, it suggests the mastermind will be the new killer. The only problem is that the mechanics aren't there for resistance like gameplay afaik, unless the mastermind would function a little differently. Although, capcom could have simply shut it down due to it's lack of success, and decided to go with a DLC for DBD.
Outside of the mastermind, I don't know. The goto is tyrant or nemesis, but I don't see how they could work. The tyrant's abilities were a combo of deathslinger/demogorgon. The nemesis just doesnt seem to work in my mind.
Maybe Mr. X makes the most sense.

The same could be said for half the killer roster really. Mr. X is also a tyrant. It really doesn't matter who the killer is based on their strength really. I mean Freddy is a dream demon and yet pallets and walls stop him.

"Mr. X" is not his actual name and he is never called that in any of the main RE games. As far as I know its a fan made name and I have no idea where it came from. The only time I've heard him being called Mr. X was in RE:Resistance wich is super not canon.
The RE2 Tyrant is still the most likely candidate but don't read too much into the X thing.

Whille I fully expect it to be Nemesis, Mr. X, or birkin. I have a suggestion I havent seen anyone make yet and im a bit surprised honestly.
Alexia Ashford from Code Veronica. Alexia with her fire/bug/plant powers. Lore wise she already has a ton to work with. Id have said the Ashford Twins and not just Alexia but considering they just did a twins killer I'd say probably no, but hey you never know.

Lisa Trevor is the one I want! I know that her boss fight was kinda strange, but her lore is amazingly sad. I think it would be cool.

The Obvious choices for survivor are going to be Leon, Claire, Jill, and Chris. My guess is two of the four will be available at launch and the other two will come later as Legendary cosmetics.
This could be a stretch, but this may be the first chapter where we possibly see two killers. I'm going to say Nemesis for sure will be one of them just because he is so iconic to the series. As for a potential second one, Mr. X, RE 1 Tyrant, and William Birkin are the most likely candidates. The Devs are going to want to go for the most well-known characters, so while I would love to see Ethan Winters, Jack Baker, or Lady Dimitrescu, I think they are going to opt for the classic characters instead. I think it's safe to say we shouldn't expect anything past RE4, and if I'm wrong I doubt I will be disappointed.

I don't agree exactly. I could see them letting DBD use Lady D after the game has been out for two months and to promote their game in the process (as they seemingly gave Felix a Chris style outfit in the teaser) Also, they aren't lending the actual model as DBD creates their own.
I just don't see Lady D realistically joining DBD because of the dress (which unlike Plague, offers her no way to vault or move fast without looking strange). Also, he size is another issue as she'd eclipse Demo/Pyramid Head (two tallest characters atm) and wouldn't fit through doors. To make a clearer perspective, Demo and Pyramid Head are about 7 feet tall whereas Lady D is 9 and a half feet tall.

Def Chris and jill both stars members and nemissis the stars destroyer makes sense of there is a map probably something from re 4 0r 5 if they ate trying to include as many players a possible like silent hill
