Help me Twins Mains!

Hello! I have been playing Twins since their release and I was hoping to get some extra tips on pouncing mechanics and general advice on perks :)! I don't slug with them and have had a lot of success in not doing so, but I also struggle with pounce mechanics and have literally flown halfway across the map when I'm standing next to a survivor ;w; The cat figurine is too distracting for me so I'm just wondering what your strategies are and all that. Thank you in advance and also,,

Well if you miss you go far, simple as theres not much else to it but aim and pounce, jumping over objects is just practice to know the height to look at depending on if it's a pallet/window and your distance to it. Perks ruin, undying, thana, bbq. You need passive slowdown as you waste so much time swapping between and walking to down players. Slug or at least slug and get an injure if they're close. Once again you waste alot of time and need pressure. Leave Charlotte near hooks and use victor to go out. If you dont like the idea of Thana use pop or something, victor is strong and all you need is gen defense because of their down time. Bbq helps you to know where to run with victor. Use speed addon for victor then the other up to you, I do changing speed to Charlotte

If you feel like someone will drop a pallet when you're victor then you can pre charge while backing away. If you're a small distance away from a pallet or vault when pouncing then it can be easier to hit the survivor.

You only really want to use Victor's pounce at two ranges - right next to them, and the absolute maximum of the pounce's range. Most survivors don't try to Juke a max range pounce because they underestimate how far Victor can fix and going right up to a survivors means you can kinda backrev them like Billy, provided there aren't any windows or pallets nearby.

There's other situations where you want to use it, but most of the time you want to pounce from point blank. Also, run Toy Sword - it makes pouncing a lot easier.

    "I don't slug with them"

There's your first mistake. You aren't winning against good survivors without slugging. They're a snowball killer, that's how they win.

Don't hold your Victor pounce for a long time. Survivors usually expect this and you can get quick split second pounces when they underestimate the charge time.

Always use Toy Sword, default to Victor move speed addons unless there's 2+ medkits and then use Spin Top. Anti-slug/healing perks are your counter.

Most people over use Charlotte. You should be in Victor like 90% of the time.

You can use Charlotte to afk block your hex from being cleansed while you pressure with Victor.

I mean that I don't pull like the three to four person slug, I have gotten one or two people across the map but I play for fun and don't want to win just by having everyone laying on the ground lol. Thank you for the toy sword suggestion, I will try it out :)!

If you aren't playing that way you're just playing a weak version of other killers. You can have fun without playing by survivor rule books.

It's like saying you aren't gonna use traps on Trapper because survivors find it annoying to step in them.

So the Problem might not only be your aiming with Victor its also the Matchmaking because the Survivor Ranks can be very different each Match, so this means the gap between faking directions or just faking the Fake is big. Your best bet is to watch how the Survivor moves and how experienced he or she is. If they just run, then go for the straight jump. If they wiggle with A and D while running, then you probably have to mindgame it or react very quick. There is no short or fast way to predict where someone will dodge.

For the Perks i would suggest you trying out the following:

    • Thanatophobia
    • Sloppy Budger
    • Pop Goes The Weasel
    • BBQ & Chilli

Imo Its the best arroundee build for every Situation. I would not recommend gen regress builds with undying and ruin because of the massive undying nerf.

You can always profit from the build i suggest you because no one can take away anything from you, so its also a very safe build.
