Salty players
I honestly thought salty messages were literally when I play as a killer, turns out I've been sandbagged with salt from my own team.. getting him off the hook too early. 😂 and would rather me go through the exit game and leave him there obviously 🤦♀️
Apparently was farming the hook and hiding despite me fixing 2 gens and going for the save. Once I unhooked him the first time the EG were open, expecting him to run with me run straight into the killer and got hooked again by then I was at the exit, was going back for him the second round, had it not been for trickster coming at me with his over bareing knives blocking me to have no option to leave, I left and within 5 seconds the salt comes through..
It has not been the first one today, I'm just wondering as to what the point is throwing an embarrassing tantrum in your DM over a failed match, which they obviously caused themselves hanging about and running into the killer 🤷♀️
Has anyone else had this type of salt from your team? And what was the worst message? I don't find this behaviour anything more than embarrassing and childish.

Got a message the other day from a teammate trashing me for supposedly farming him when I had BT & an exit gate at the ready close-by.
It's funny because if I would've just left him there, I'm sure he would've still messaged me with salt. Can't please everyone I guess.
I've personally never went out of my way to send an angry PM, especially since I'm on console. Even if they were an immersed POS that did nothing the entire game, I find it extremely immature.

Whinds me up so much 😂 I'm like hang on I swear I'm their team mate. He accused me of camping and farming his hook. I was in the middle of the map working on a gen so I honestly didn't understand how that worked out to be farming or camping tbh 😂

Some people are just salty because they aren't as good at the game as they think they are.
I went out of my way to help a streamer the other day, saved them, took protection hits, flashlight saved them twice and they still complained how me and the rest of the team were garbage lmao.
Honestly don't worry about it they're just sore losers and they take a video game way to seriously lol.

Ah not too worried, I actually felt really bad for them to take the time to message me something so embarrassing. Like actually tried to speak fluent dbd to me as well 😂 worst thing is he was on about ranks trying to shame my rank (yellow at the moment I work full time ) said he was red rank survivor turns out he lied and was infact a green and tried to say how all yellow ranks are trash ect... my response was ranks are the equivalent of a chocolate tea pot and if he was a red rank he would of played the game alot better and not cry his eyes out at the end chat because he lost. 🤷♀️ can correct me if you want of being out of order if you like, I personally didn't see any thing wrong with what I had said there.

You're right, some people make me laugh when they like to call other people in the match trash etc but yet they're the ones that lost lol. When I first started playing I didn't like messages like that but now I just laugh at them because they don't realise how how ridiculous they sound lol. 😂😂

But it wasn't the hatch they got the ump about it was the fact I used their key! God forbid you use someone else's stuff to help you out ! Some People forget it's a team game. Like I've genuinely been sand bagged and hooked to death If they're chats available I'm literally like go find the hatch and scram! 😂 saying this I've done this to someone and they've messaged back "in future don't tell me that to do " 😳 like, alright mate you can die next time then lol

When I'm playing killer, survivors are toxic towards each other more often than they are to me in end game chat. I've even seen people get angry at their team when all 4 escaped which really just confused me. Like, you all got out, but you're still mad they didn't do well enough? Should they have escaped better? Just weird to me. They're usually not even being more specific than 'player bad' so it's not even constructive criticism from their team.

Almost like some survivors are expected to find a grapling rope or something 😂, I just don't understand all the toxic, and what's the point and achievement from it?
Some players get more BP than them so they'll have a kick off about that as well most likely. "How you get all those points, you didn't do alot" ... no mate almost like my arse hasn't hasn't tunnelled on and off for 10 minutes or saved you from dying 😑

Was playing 3SWF, the random was caught while we were working on the first gens. I could see them being face camped by a Hillbilly revving his chainsaw, this was also before he could overheat. None of my swf was running BT so going for save wouldn't have been very successful, if anything it just would've been a dumb hook swap. Instead of rewarding Hillbilly's camping we focused on gens. At time I had messages off but friend requests open. The random was so mad that as soon as they were sacrificed they used the ps4 loophole of sending a message with a friend request to cuss at me and complain that I didn't save them. My two swf teammates didn't get anything. 😂

Honestly I only get salty at killers who camp a hook until a player is dead, what a **** way to play.

😂😂 dear god. Some people crack me up! Yunno you're gonn get salty message of some kind getting a freida request I never get requests unless I'm in a chill end chat and we hit off together quite well. Killer mainly I make more friendships with surprisingly ! I used the phrase of "hags spreading her traps quicker than a hooker and her legs" 😂 genuinely had him hysterical! I half expected him to have a go or something but hit the barrel quite well.

Yeah man that whinds me up too, but I wouldn't give them a pants inbox over it, I'd just happily move to the next match... ranting in their DM isn't gonna change how they play after all.

I can’t cause I’m console and it’s a PC player, so there’s no communication afterwards.
I understand if its end game, but for the first guy you down and then just stand there until he dies, it’s a **** way to play and even ruins that guys game.

Unfortunately camping/ tunnelling is against the dbd rules. Its game play and tac tic.. it doesn't benefit the killer as 3 gens are automatically and almost instantly blast in their face. Complaining or giving salt is exactly what those particular killers want you to do. If I come across camper they can bet their sorry butt's I ain't playing that BS and will suicide to for a different match (sorry team but that game play is wack!)
Just suicide the hook and move forward. What ever you do don't DC nothing worse than any player or killer DCing.. may as well uninstall the game if you're easily aggy about how someone plays.

Oh, yeah. I had someone moaning 'why didn't you save me, I was running Adrenaline and 'some other perk I can't remember'.
When I she was right in the middle of the map, the other teammate ran out of the exit gate (so I was alone). And the killer chased me out.
I just typed back 'I was running Self Preservation.' and left. Lol.

I've had more salt from teammates than opponents to the side I was playing. Especially one I remember who decided to wait in a locker through both my hook states (we were the last 2) and then got pissy because Trapper found the hatch he wanted, so he missed out. He messaged me "Use your brain". I replied "I did and that's why you didn't get the hatch", then blocked and moved on. Can't think they liked that much.

I turned off friend requests so now they need to sit and stew in their anger. I figure it's probably more frustrating for them that they can't throw a tantrum at a stranger online. 😂

😂😂😂 not gonna lie theres has been a couple of occasions I've had the same situation of hatch campers... like I've died then instantly messaged the killer saying to lock the hatch and told them.the location of it obviously knowing through using left behind. And he did, he locked it. I had a similar message saying "get good" ... my reply was " I am good, that's why the hatch is locked " to reply back "what do you mean?" " how do you think the killer knew where the hatch was and locked it so fast" oh the swearing of abuse i got afterwards is far too explicit... gave it a week later "thanks for getting me banned on xbox live" .... "you're welcome you mouth f××× " and blocked him 😂🤣

That doesn’t make sense to suicide, if anything it rewards the **** player cause he doesn’t have to stand anymore waiting for you to die and takes time away to do gens and punish him.

I once had a game where a group of survivors sent me to pre-rework Ormond. Most of them were running stuff like Soul Guard/Unbreakable and they were coordinating chases into Head-Ons so I assume they were a SWF. To top it off, I was playing Trapper. They 3-genned themselves and I was able to camp a guy on the hook and prevent the last guy from doing the final gen. I actually managed to get a 4k.
One dude ended up sending me a message calling me the worst killer in the game and I just replied with "You lost to the worst killer in the game?" I live for the salt.

People can play how they want, still doesn’t mean they won’t get criticised for it. It’s a ######### way to play. It ruins someone elses fun of the game and it also makes them depip because they were unlucky to get found first and caught, it’s just a toxic way to play. If you teabagged though, you probably deserve it then.

The most ridiculous message I got from a salty survivor was when playing against a Hillbilly. I was going for Adept Jeff at the time so those were the perks I had. Two people were hooked in the basement. I was injured and working on finishing the final gen. The other survivor was healthy.
All signs pointed to the Hillbilly camping the basement.
After the last gen popped, I opened the exit gate that was right next to me (this was before the EGC, so no timer). The other survivor got downed, and when I started to go for the basement save despite being injured the Hillbilly saw me and I just barely escaped.
After the match, I got a message from one of the survivors hooked in the basement complaining that I didn't save them. I was like, "I was injured. The other guy wasn't!" I found out they had messaged the other guy during the match and he was doing a gen so they told him to go ahead and finish the gen, but apparently even though they could see that I too was working on a gen they just expected me to magically know that despite being the injured one I should go across the map and save them. They left me completely in the dark and waited until after the match to message me. They did everything wrong but still wanted to give me crap.
Man, wouldn't they be [BAD WORD]ing pissed in the many situations where three healthy survivors left me to die against a no-one-hit-down-having killer.
I never understand why survivors send messages about not being rescued. I got a lot of messages for not going for the rescue, but never got messages when I died trying, and only got thanked once for one of my amazing clutch EGC rescues.

Yes it's may ruin your side of it, but everytime someone DCs ect that killers laughing because they got under your skin. This thread is based on salty players based on messages not salty players based on how a killer plays. I agree it's a massive pain, but the bottom line is they're not breaking game rules, jus double checked myself of the rules. Tunnelling/camping isn't rules breaking. And that goes for those particular killers who complain of gen camping... its annoying asf. But it's not rule breaking.

I suggest you re read my original post again babe, like thoroughly read it... it literally says in there I was fixing the last gen quite a bit away from the dude, the first guy impeded the gate and ran and I went back for him, he hung around too long instead of running, tried going back for him the second time and wouldn't of made it by the time i got round the killer. So you're comment above me is absolutely ridiculous.
I've tried to put it nice as i can and you're coming at me being all rude. We're all having comments based on experiences of salty inboxes mainly from our own team, not ranting about how a killer plays the game.
I simply suggest if you're gonna be a rude jerk you do not respond to anymore of my messages, because they will be ignored.
