How many of you can actually manage the Killer Carry Struggle meter?
What I mean is, you tap A and D keys to break free from Killer's hold. While doing this, the meter slowly progresses, simple enough. My question is, are you experiencing the meter stuttering as you try to tap the keys to make it progress? Does it feel like the meter is not registering some of your presses?
There are so many situations where I have been near to a hook with 99% left on the meter but the Killer manages to hook me, all this because the meter is not registering some of my taps that eats away from the time to break free before getting hooked.
I just want to know if other people are experiencing this too. It's not a bug or anything, just the challenge to keep the perfect rhythm so that the struggle meter progresses smoothly. It's so unsatisfying and annoying to see the meter stuttering because sometimes my presses are not registered and I have to do double the work to try to break free.

You're likely pressing the keys too quickly to the point where your keyboard is failing to register subsequent inputs. (Same thing applies to struggling on the hook)
There's a cap on how fast you can wiggle, and you really don't have to press the keys rapidly to hit that cap.
Slow down when you're wiggling, you don't need to be pressing the keys lightning fast to be wiggling at maximum efficiency.

^ this.
Pressing them faster doesn't give you any more progression.
About 2 presses per second is all you need.

I wonder if there's caps to how much you can struggle in other stuff like deathslingers gun. Because i think one survivor was using a macro or jusg had speed fingers once i shot them their body started shooting very quickly to the left lol.

I am not pressing them too fast nor too slow. I have tried everything. Been playing the game for many years and I still find it hard to find the perfect rhythm to press them to achieve smooth progression...

I'm on controller and it progresses pretty smoothly, but I still get the thing where, from my POV, it looks like I should have wiggled free just as we get to the hook, and then it doesn't happen. I always figured it was lag and, on the killer's screen, they got to the hook a little earlier.

That's that hook vacuum for you. The killer doesn't have to be exactly in front of the hook for the prompt to come up. It comes up like a meter away from the hook, so that last little bit can be stolen from you
