Smash Hit against Spirit Fury
I dont know if there is already a thread about it, but I wanted to share it with you.
I played Smash Hit against few killers with Spirit Fury and its incredibly good.
The killer try to be stun to activate Spirit Fury but its completly wasted because of Smash It, I got the boost.
I think Smash Hit is now the best exhaustion perk.
At first I tried it with a Power Struggle build, it was really good. But now I play Smash It as a random perk, not around a build and its really good.
Why should I use Sprint Burst now ?

Sprint Burst allows you to avoid chases all together.
But I'll definitely be using Smash Hit regardless.

Every perk has its niche, Smash It is limited to pallets while Sprint Burst can be used on demand, even prepped to activate after releasing run periodically.

Yes but its like Soul Guard and Unbreakable, Unbreakable seems better but Soul Guard is more effective because its not meta and has a surprise effect.
Its the same with Smash Hit and Sprint Burst.
Meta perks are easy to counter because the killer know how to deal with it.

Smash Hit feels more like a stealth perk than a chase perk. Camp the pallet, take a hit and the stun to combine speed boost, chase is completely and utterly over unless the killer wants to throw the game.

I dont agree at all. Smash It is one of the best perk in a chase, I cant count how many times it saved me in a loop.
Better than Dead Hard and Sprint Burst.
This perk is amazing.

Regardless, yes I can definitely see Smash Hit countering Enduring + Spirit Fury shenanigans.

Any killer going against someone using Smash Hit is going to throw the game by continuing the chase unless the survivor wastes the speed boost.

Thats my point, Smash Hit saved me many times, because the killer dont follow you after that.
You can run to another loop so easy.

Yeah, that's not a chase perk. A chase perk is something that helps you to extend the chase, not avoid it.

No, it only helps you avoid it. If a killer is going to throw the game like that, then you could have gone in in a shiny new outfit with no perks.

I haven't gotten Smash Hit to work yet, probably because all killers I play against respect pallets in safe loops :(

I think you just dont understand how good that perk is, you should try it.
It extend the chase, because you can run to another loop so quick that you avoid getting hit.
And you can avoid a chase with it, but if a killer left you after that, he has lost time chasing me for nothing 😉

I don't think being a counter to another perk makes for a good perk. In general, Smash Hit is taking what's already a strong escape opportunity and making it unnecessarily easier. Lithe essentially fills the same role with an easier activation for situations where you're at a lesser advantage.

If pallets weren't broken, it *could* be the strongest exhaustion perk, but its design looks like it's specifically to counter the Spirit Fury/Enduring combo. You're always risking a hit going for a pallet stun anyway, though. Sprint Burst and Dead Hard are much more versatile.

The perk itself is very strong, I just find out that it counter Spirit Fury too, makes it more strong.
I think Lithe is better on a vault with Dance with me, than using it on a pallet.
Smash Hit is like, high risk, high reward. Yes its hard to activate, but when it works, its so good.

They would not be bugged forever, but even with the bug I got many stuns.

Uhh.. I'd rather Sprint Burst.
I'd rather a Killer see me use that and have that perk go off and decide I am not worth it and not chase me at all.

You don't counter Sprint Burst. You put up with Sprint Burst. Unless you have a way to give me Exhausted before I can press SHIFT and count to 3. Most bottles are seen a mile away and you'd have to be pretty out of it not to be looking out for them when sitting on a gen.

You can counter Sprint Burst in two ways :
1. Getting a hit during the Sprint Burst
2. Slow the survivor (hello Clown)

Yeah, I don't think you understand the difference between a counter and dealing with something. Neither of those things PREVENT Sprint Burst from going off. That is a counter. You don't NEGATE Sprint Burst. You just work AROUND Sprint Burst.

English is not my first language but I know what a counter is.
And I dont agree with you. Sprint Burst has two uses. First avoiding a hit and make the killer swing, that is negate when you are getting hit by the killer. The second use is making distance, that is negate when you are slowed by my pink bottle.
I think you just play with words.
