Question about the rank system

Does it take more points to get a merciless victory on rank 1, than on rank 2? I've got four 4Ks in a row with my adept Demogorgon yet no merciless.

It takes more to in emblems to get the merciless and the others have the bar raised too

Rank 1,2,3,4 you need to get 4 iridescent emblems to get merciless. It can't go any higher.

My question is if rank 1 is different from 2, 3 and 4 in a way that you need more points.

No because 4 iridescents are max points. You physically cannot go higher than 4 iridescent emblems. Point values for how you gain those emblems don't increase either.
