any chance of getting a replay system?
i'd love to go back and re-examine my games, what i did well and what i did poorly, see how things looked from different perspectives, and learn from other people. and also just for fun!

I don't think we'll get this. I just record my own gameplay to rewatch and seek out streamers to get their perspective.

Doubtful. It would take a lot of work to get it in (even though it doesn't sound like it would). Plus there are already ways to do it somewhat (record them yourself with a program or with playstation if you use that).
Id love to be able to use a free roam camera to analyze the match/start/stop the game etc but it won't happen

The big issue for most replay systems is that replays aren't videos. They are realtime re-simulations with models performing the exact same prior actions as took during gameplay.
For a game like dbd, this would be hefty on file storage. Not to mention each update would break past replays.
So I find it unlikely though it would be neat.

i'm not sure how dbd filesizes would be that much worse than, say, overwatch filesizes. dbd has 5 players, overwatch has 12, and overwatch just records every game you do as a replay. maybe not a feature for console users, but does that mean it shouldn't exist at all? i'd love to have it on PC and i'm sure content creators would love to have it for making videos about their particularly good games.
past replays breaking every update is just, it comes with the territory and is expected. i would still love to have them, regardless!

I would love if they atleast gave us information about our games that we played so we can see who was playing with us ,how much kills we got etc.

Siege has started doing now, it's a really cool feature. You can store up to 10 games at a time and watch them from a bird's eye view so you can see what everyone was doing at the same time. I'd imagine the records could help with catching cheaters as well to some extent
